Chapter 18 Troublemakers
Anastasia sneered, “What about you? When you dumped me,
did it ever cross your mind that I had waited on you hand and
foot for three years?
“Are you guilty at all?”
Felton was instantly choked up at her retort.
Just then, her phone dinged. She picked it up and saw a text
from her assistant, telling her Felton had already made the
trending topic go away.
She tossed the phone aside and smiled sarcastically, “You dealt
with the trending topic already?
“Some speed you got, Felton.”
When saying this, she thought, “He really loves Raquel to the
core, doesn’t he?”
Somehow, she felt that someone was prickling her heart with a
needle, and the pain only became worse every second.
“Was I supposed to sit around while doing nothing as you slandered Raquel?” Felton said sternly.

Anastasia couldn’t help but mock inwardly, “Felton, you’re the
stupidest man I’ve ever seen.”
Saying nothing, she hung up directly.
Her chest heaved as memories of her years of taking care of
Felton flooded her mind.
She let out a derisive laugh, deciding to treat those three years
the heavy price she paid for her stupid mistake.
Just then, her phone buzzed. As she saw the words “Eclipse Bar”
flickering on the screen, she answered without hesitation.
“Didn’t I tell you not to bother me unless it’s something urgent?
What now?”
Being disturbed, she was in a terrible mood.
Lorenzo Conley, the manager of Eclipse Bar, was so terrified by
her voice that he stuttered, “M–Ms. Carney, there are some
troublemakers here. I… I…”
“You’re in charge of the bar, and you’re telling me you can’t even
handle a couple of troublemakers? Remind me why I hired you
in the first place. Wait for me to come over!” Anastasia was even
more enraged by his mumbles.
Chapter 18 Troublemakers
After hanging up, she picked up her car keys from the table and
strode outside the door.
She wanted to know who had the balls to cause trouble on her
turf.
About ten minutes later, a red Ferrari pulled up in front of
Eclipse Bar.
Anastasia got out of the car, her form–fitting black mini skirt
accentuating her killer body.
Her curly, long hair scattered over her shoulders, and the
sunglasses she wore somehow made her bright red lips stand
out more even in a place like this.
She walked straight to the counter and arched an eyebrow at
Lorenzo. “Who’s causing trouble here?”
Lorenzo was one of her subordinates, managing the bar’s
affairs.
He pointed at several beefy men. “The pole dancer that was supposed to go on stage today asked for leave, and they made a big scene, saying that they’d wreck the entire place if they didn’t
get to see her perform.
“These are all local villains here, and I don’t dare to deal with
Chapter 18 Troublemakers
them without your approval.”
Anastasia took off her sunglasses and looked in the direction
where he was pointing.
Then she smiled and strode toward Herschel Ochoa, one of the
villains, “Mr. Ochoa, come on. We’re all friends here. What’s this
about?”
Herschel glanced at her with great disdain.
“Who the fuck are you?”
“If you want anything, you can tell me,” she smiled kindly.

He sipped some wine and glanced at her sideways. “Didn’t
anyone tell you? I wanna see a pole dance.”
Maintaining a smile, she said, “Mr. Ochoa, it’s so unfortunate
that our dancer asked for leave today. How about this? Your
drinks are on me today. Come by tomorrow. I promise you
won’t be disappointed.””
Herschel, however, was even more displeased. He frowned and
slammed the table hard, causing a loud bang. “I have money!
Tell your boss that I’ll ruin this place if I don’t get to see a pole
dance today!”
Chapter 18 Troublemakers
Anastasia tried hard to suppress her anger. After all, business
was all about profit. She smiled, “Alright then. Just a second.””
Then she walked quickly toward Lorenzo and ordered coldly,
“Bring the outfit to the dressing room.”
