Wilson

One second, I was ecstatic, my heart soaring with joy, as I thought about Leo coming home, willing to try again, on whatever terms, as long as she was coming back to me. But in the next instant, the

cruel consequences of my actions came crashing down, like a house of cards, revealing the devastating truth

The results of my selfishness, my betrayal, were now playing out in a twisted game

where my loved ones were pawns, threatened by the very person I shouldn’t have ever gotten involved with

Most of us have faced that one dreading moment in life where the cold, chilling fears creep in, gripping you with an unrelenting intensity, and you pray fervently inside your head that it’s just a baseless paranoia or a terrible misunderstanding. But then, it happens the unthinkable becomes reality, and you’re scared shitless, by the chilling terror of facing it.

I spun around, my heart racing, wishing, hoping, praying with every fiber of my being that she wasn’t there, that no harm would come to my family, that this nightmare would somehow not

Occur

Didn’t you miss me Wilson? Her velvety voice felt like a venomous snake hissing as she emerged from the dark shadows of the parking lot like a malevolent specter, her presence seeming to draw the very light out of the air, leaving only an unsettling chill

I gritted my teeth as my heart sank, my eyes fixed on the shiny gun she pulled from the back of her jeans, the metal glinting menacingly in the faint light. With a surge of adrenaline, I quickly pushed Leona closer to the car, my hand firm on her arm

Get inside and lock the doors,I whispered urgently, my voice barely audible, as I desperately sought to shield her from the impending danger

Oh no, no,Alenia shakes her head, her eyes wild and swinging out of control, as a maniacal grin spreads across her face

Nobody moves, she spits out commanding, as she removes the safety lock with a deliberate click

The gun trembles in her hand, but her aim is steady, the barrel trained on us with deadly precision. I almost collapsed under the weight of my fear, my legs buckling beneath me, as I desperately spread my hands to shield Leo and Willy, my palms open and pleading, as if I could deflect the impending doom with sheer willpower

Alenia’s eyes gleamed with a sinister intensity, making my skin crawl. I instinctively rushed to shield Leo and Willy, from her menacing gaze, my body forming a protective barrier around them. A deep fear settled in the pit of my stomach like a cold, hard stone, weighing me down, as my mind raced with worstcase scenarios

Give me your phones now,Alenta demanded, her voice rising to a frenzied pitch, as she pointed the gun she was holding at us with a shaking hand, the barrel glinting menacingly in the dim light

Right now,she snarled, her eyes blazing with a feral intensity, as she fired a shot that was eerily muted, the sound swallowed up by the silencer

I realized with a jolt of terror that the shot hadn’t echoed, and that nobody would hear our cries for help, that we were utterly alone and at her mercy. The silence was terrifying, only enveloped by our shallow breathing, as we froze, paralyzed with fear, the gun’s muzzle trained on us like a cold, dark

I hesitantly handed over my phone, and Leo’s, trying not to make any sudden movements that might provoke her further. Alenia’s eyes gleamed with a manic triumph as she snatched the devices from my hand, and with a savage cry, she hurled them to the ground

Her foot came down on them, again and again, the crunch of shattering glass and plastic echoing through the air as she stomped on them with a ferocity that made my blood run cold. The phones lay there, broken and useless, their screens cracked and dark, as Alenia’s chest heaved with exertion, the gun still trained on us with an unsteady hand, her finger tightening on the trigger

You’re only going to make this difficult for yourself, Alenia,I warned, as I struggled to keep my voice steady and my words even

My body betrayed me, though, as I constantly shuddered from fear, my muscles trembling beneath my skin, while my mind screamed for me to protect my family from maniac before us

What could be more difficult?Alenia’s voice rose in a heartwrenching cry, her words dripping with anguish

Fresh tears streamed down her face like rivulets of sorrow, her eyes red and puffy probably from

the previous bouts of weeping

Her tone was a masterful blend of despair and accusation, making it seem as though she was the innocent victim, wronged by my very existence. Anyone witnessing this scene would be hardpressed not to believe her convincing portrayal of a woman utterly destroyed by obsession

You don’t want to do this, Alenia,I warned calmly, trying to reason with her, my voice shaking with fear and desperation

You’ll be charged with a worse crime than you’re already accused of,I pleaded, hoping to penetrate the fog of her madness. But she just laughed, a cold, mirthless sound, as she wiped away her tears with the sleeve of her arm, gathering herself with an unnerving calmness

Doesn’t matter!she screamed, as she kicked the ground with a fierce, frustrated motion, her foot sending up a small cloud of dust and gravel

Everything I ever had, everything I worked for, is gone!she walled, her words echoing through

the desolate parking lot like a mournful cry. Her eyes blazed with a fierce, desperate despair, as if she was one a murdering spree
