Giovani’s voice caught my attention, and as I looked up, I saw his distinct jawline.
I could see it! I was a bit excited.
Giovani felt my gaze and lowered his head to look at me.
I looked at Giovani, feeling a bit dazed.
Just because this face was too familiar, it turns out he really was Giovani, the older brother of the neighbor’s family.
I was held in Giovani’s arms, surrounded by a tremendous sense of security.
I was both surprised and delighted as I exclaimed, “It’s you!”
Giovani didn’t speak, he just gave me a gentle smile.
No time for further reminiscing, Xander, who had just been caught off guard, got up after being kicked to the ground by Giovani.
Where was Xander beaten?
Now I saw Giovani holding me, smiling affectionately at me, which made me even more furious.
Xander’s face darkened as he said, “Let her go.”
Giovani looked at Xander and asked with a smile, “Why?”
Xander growled, “She was my wife, why do you have the right to hold onto her?”

Xander finished speaking and as he walked forward, just as he was about to grab my hand, he was forcefully pushed by Giovani once again.
Xander was completely infuriated by Giovani, he clenched his fists and struck Giovani in the face, saying, “Are you crazy? Stop meddling and let go of my wife.”
Giovani tilted his head slightly, causing Xander’s hand to miss.
Giovani held me in his arms and yelled at Xander, “Wife? How come you didn’t think of her as your wife when you were having fun with other women in bed? How come you didn’t feel sorry for her when you took away her cornea and made up for other women?”
“Now that she’s gone, without you, and in the arms of another man, you suddenly remember that she was your wife? You really can’t measure up
to her.”
“She has already left you now, doesn’t want you anymore. If you still have a little conscience, you should hurry up and leave, don’t bother her anymore. Can’t you see? She feels nauseous just by seeing you.”
Giovani’s words were very realistic, brutally tearing apart the sweet dreams Xander had been having, revealing the harsh truth.
Xander looked at his tightly clenched hands and gritted his teeth, saying, “This was between the two of us, it was not your turn to intervene. What do you think you are?”
Upon hearing Xander’s words, Giovani was not annoyed either, and chuckled lightly, saying, “Me? Of course, I am her boyfriend.”
When did I become her girlfriend?
I looked at Giovani in confusion, while Giovani winked at me.
Xander’s face turned as dark as ink when he heard the words “boyfriend“.

Xander growled, “Impossible! I have never heard of Sharon having any male friends, so how could a boyfriend suddenly appear out of nowhere? Besides, Sharon and I are not even divorced yet!”
I said lightly, “We have already divorced. Xander, didn’t you see the divorce agreement that I sent you?”
Upon hearing my voice, Xander softened his tone and said, “Don’t be silly, Sharon. It doesn’t count. I didn’t sign, so it doesn’t count.”
I replied, “Xander, I had already used your personal seal and stamped it on the divorce agreement. Your name is on the divorce agreement, and our divorce has already been finalized.”
“I was no longer your wife and never would be again. There would be no relationship between you and me.”
Upon hearing my words of distancing myself, Xander’s eyes turned red and he choked, “No, Sharon, I know you’re still mad at me. It’s all my fault, and I apologize to you.”
“You can hit me, scold me, or do whatever you want, but please don’t mention divorce. It has nothing to do with our relationship, okay?”
Xander was speaking while trying to grab my hand.
Giovani had intended to stop Xander’s hand, but before he could make a move, I raised my hand and gave Xander a hard slap across the face.
“Xander, stop disgusting me here.”
