Tiffany’s face twisted with anger: “You think
you’re so great? One day, you’ll regret this.
You’ll beg me for forgiveness.”
I nodded dismissively: “Yeah, yeah, whatever.”
After being reborn, I never planned to do
anything to her.
I knew she’d kill herself with her own stupidity!
She had barely been kicked out by Chad when
<
she went crawling back.
One day, I was working as a server at some
corporate event with my mentor.
That was the first time I saw Chad since being
reborn.
He made me uncomfortable.
Especially his cold, snake–like eyes.
He wasn’t a good guy.
Tiffany was crazy to chase after him.
That’s what led to her downfall.
Suddenly, I saw a familiar face.
It was Tiffany!
She really didn’t give up.
I was busy serving drinks and didn’t have time
to deal with her.
Before I knew it, she and Chad were gone.
Thirty minutes later, I hid in the breakroom and
answered my phone.
Tiffany’s tired, raspy voice came through the
speaker: “Mandy, bring me some clothes to the
bathroom on the twelfth floor of the hotel.”
I paused. “Why?”
She sounded urgent: “I saw you just now. I
know you’re here.”
I frowned. “If you don’t explain, I’m not coming.”
Her answer left me speechless.
I couldn’t believe she was so reckless!

Chapter 2
Tiffany had drugged Chad.
Chad? He’d seen it all. She thought she could
sleep her way into his heart and become the
next Cinderella.
Instead, Chad used her and tossed her out of
the room naked.
Like a cheap, used–up napkin.
I found her in the bathroom on the twelfth floor.
Tiffany was hiding in a stall, and I gave her my
clothes.
When she took them, I saw bruises all over her
skin. Half her face was swollen.
I could only imagine how rough she’d been
handled.
Noticing my gaze, Tiffany threw open the stall
door, exposing her whole body.
My eyes widened.
She was covered in bruises, a horrifying mess.
But she just shrugged, her eyes determined:
“Stop looking at me like that. You should be
happy for me. Soon, I’ll be Mrs. Chad
Thompson.”
I didn’t know what to say.
