We All Came Back, and She’s Still
an Idiot
Chapter 1
My sister, Tiffany, desperate to catch the eye
of some big–shot CEO, smashed his precious
Maybach.
He didn’t even blink, just filed a lawsuit.
She thought he was playing hard to get, so she
pulled a stunt, running in front of his car and
landing herself in the hospital.
Later, the CEO, Chad Thompson, married some
rich socialite. Tiffany, showing up pregnant,
tried to crash the wedding, only to get the crap
beaten out of her by Chad himself.
My parents and I watched it all, never trying to
stop her from hitting rock bottom.
<
Because we’d all been given a second chance
– we’d all been reborn!
–
Tiffany was obsessed with those cheesy
romance novels where the tough CEO falls for
the quirky girl.
Ever since she was a kid, she’d bring home
strays.
The first was a homeless guy who cleaned us
out.
The second was some delinquent who tried to
force himself on her.
Then the whole “adopt–a–kid” thing got
popular.
She dragged some three–year–old home.
We almost got her arrested for kidnapping.
Later, everyone started saying that CEOS only
fell for the ditzy, innocent types.
The crazier and more clueless you were, the
more they loved you.
So, Tiffany turned into a full–blown nutcase.
And in our last life, her craziness dragged our
whole family down!
After starting her college internship, she went
full psycho to get Chad’s attention, smashing
his Maybach with a brick.
Instead of a CEO’s affection, she got a lawsuit.
“This is how it always starts,” she chirped. “The
hero and heroine hate each other at first!”
To keep Tiffany out of legal trouble, Mom and
Dad drained their savings to pay for the car
repairs.
<
She acted like we were the ones in the wrong,
clinging to her “I’m a special, misunderstood
girl” fantasy. She even went to confront Chad
about it.
Chad wasn’t having it and told his driver to run
her over.
She spent half a month in the hospital.
That didn’t knock any sense into her. It just
made her crazier.
She ignored Mom’s pleas and broke into Chad’s
house to cook for him, even slipping something
into his drink at some charity event. She did all
the stupid things that no self–respecting
heroine would do.
Chad was beyond annoyed with her.
But what can you do with a crazy person?
<
Then, Chad announced his engagement to a
carefully chosen heiress.
Tiffany’s brain short–circuited.
She decided that Chad was being forced into
the marriage and only she could save him.
So, she waddled into the wedding reception,
heavily pregnant, and ruined everything,
sabotaging the Thompsons‘ alliance with the
Windsor family.
Chad lost it, ordered his men to beat her to a
pulp, then had her dumped at some shady club
for anyone to use.
Mom, Dad, and I spent every dime we had,
begging and pleading, until we finally managed
to drag her, barely alive, out of that hellhole.
She shoved us away.
<
She demanded why we saved her, saying that
the hero and heroine had to suffer before
finding true love.
She was sure that Chad would come to her
rescue if he knew what she’d been through, and
they would finally get together.
She thought we ruined her chance at happiness.
While we were sleeping, she locked us in the
house and set it on fire.
I couldn’t see anything through the flames, but I –
could hear her laughing like a maniac: “You
ruined my happiness! You all deserve to die!”
Then, the pain took over.
I woke up to Mom and Dad rushing out of their
room.
They hugged me tight. “Mandy, we’re alive!”
<
It took me a minute to catch up. “Mom, Dad,
are we…reborn?”
100
Mom nodded, tears streaming down her face.
Once they were sure I was okay, Dad’s face
hardened. “If I ever help that monster again, I’m changing my name!”
Before we could even process what was
happening, my phone rang.
It was my best friend, Yasmin, who worked the
same internship as Tiffany. She sent me a
video.
Just like before, Tiffany was out of her mind,
whacking Chad’s Maybach with a brick.
Yasmin was freaking out. “[OMG], your sister’s
lost it! That’s a Maybach!!!”
Before I could reply, Yasmin sent a few more
<
videos.
After a few hits, the sleek car was dented to
hell.
But Chad didn’t show up.
Instead, the security guards called the cops,
who dragged Tiffany away.
She was furious, stomping her feet and yelling,
“I want to see Chad Thompson! Tell him to
come here!”
The Chad Thompson she was screaming about was the Thompson family’s golden boy, not just some guy with the same name as her favorite
fictional character.
She had never even seen him in person during her two months at the company. That’s why she
came up with the car–smashing stunt, hoping
to get his attention.
<
But Chad’s legal team didn’t mess around.
He handed the whole thing over to his lawyers.
Just like last time, Tiffany got sued.
But she wasn’t worried.
She came back from the police station,
humming and happy, like she hadn’t done
anything wrong.
Mom, Dad, and I exchanged a look, silently
acknowledging that we were screwed.
The moment she walked in, Tiffany got a call.
She’d been fired.
She threw her phone. “Whatever! That job
sucked anyway. Wait until I’m Mrs. Thompson!”
At the same time, Chad’s lawsuit arrived.
く
So did the damage report.
Tiffany’s little brick stunt cost $80,000!
