Chapter 6
I wanted some quiet time alone antl asked them to leave first.
My body hurt like hell, so I picked up my phone to distract myself.
The second I grabbed it, I saw my messages were going crazy.
Countless people were texting me asking what happened.
My agent was completely frantic. “Girl, what the hell! I turn around for one second and you’re getting stabbed?”
“What’s your deal with Blake Winters anyway? The media’s going insane – he rushed you to the ambulance himself”
“Holy shit, he knelt down for you? What’s your background? Is this something I’m not supposed to know as your agent?”
“The Winters family won’t let anyone else in the room. Can you get me in there when you’re better?”
Industry friends who never contacted me before were suddenly reaching out.
But they all added one thing – asking me to say hi to Blake for them.
Obviously, they didn’t care about me. They just wanted to use me to get connected to Blake.
I called my agent. That’s when I found out she’d been waiting outside the whole time.
The first thing she said when she walked in was: “Girl! You’re famous! You’re practically A–list now.”
A–list–probably what every entertainer in the business dreams of.
But in that moment, I felt like crying.
This wasn’t the kind of fame I wanted.
Besides, this wasn’t exactly something to be proud of.
My agent told me she found me right when Blake was carrying me out of the dressing room.
“You should’ve seen his face – he looked ready to murder everyone in that room.”
“Isn’t Aria his girlfriend? But when she chased after him, he told her to get lost. Everyone’s saying you’re Blake’s real girlfriend now. The internet’s going completely wild.”
I quickly cut her off.
“I don’t know if Aria’s his girlfriend, but I’m definitely not Blake’s girlfriend. Though Aria probably is his girlfriend…”
This past month on set, Blake had been showing up every few days.
He’d treat the whole crew to coffee and snacks, supposedly from Aria.
Sure, Aria was signed to his company. It made sense for him to treat people on her behalf, but I’d never seen a CEO personally show up like that.
I still remembered the day he brought those two thousand dollar–per–piece chocolates. Word was Blake came straight from the airport.
That day I had an intimate scene.

Chapter 6
My co–star pressed me against floor–to–ceiling glass, holding my waist and kissing me.
