Chapter 1
Chapter 1
CEO Blake Winters showed up on our set today, bringing hot actress Aria Vale a box of chocolates worth ten grand.
The whole crew started whooping and asking Blake for some candy.
I went over too. “Hey bro, where’s mine?”
He went ice–cold on me alone. “Go dream about it. That’s the only place you’ll get any.”
The photographers put this whole thing on trending.
Now I’m getting roasted online: [This desperate girl doesn’t even look in a mirror – does she think she’s worthy? Trying so hard to fake a romance with CEO Winters.]
[Know your place before trying to steal Aria’s man.]
Aria’s crew even cornered me in the dressing room, tore my clothes, filmed the whole thing, telling me to respect my seniors.
I’m so done.
All I did was ask my own brother for candy, and now the whole internet is trashing me?
“What the hell! How dare you try to steal Aria’s man right in front of everyone!”
“Get on your knees and apologize to Aria, then we’ll let you go. Otherwise, we’ll make sure you don’t even get to play fourth lead. Try us.”
Aria’s girls shoved me hard and I crashed onto the dressing room floor.
One of them was Chloe Ross, the second female lead of our show.
By sucking up to Aria, she elbowed me out and snatched the second lead role while I got demoted to fourth.
Now she’s lounging in front of the makeup mirror, aiming her phone at me and hitting record
Another girl’s got her hands on my shoulders, forcing me down on my knees.
“Apologize! Didn’t you hear us? You think you can just go after your senior’s man?”
I was done.
“What are you even talking about? I saw everyone else asking for candy, so I asked too! And Blake Winters is my brother – why the hell would I need to steal anything?”
Chloe Ross rolled her eyes so hard I thought they’d fall out of her head.
The girl behind me got the signal and kicked me hard.
“You’re shameless. Calling him brother? Seriously?”
I was so done.
I chose not to join Blake’s company in the first place to avoid people saying I got the job through connections.
Plus Blake’s always been hot and cold with me, totally unpredictable.

Chapter 1
So we both agreed to keep our relationship under wraps.
Great. Now when I tell the truth, nobody believes me anyway.
Chloe Ross held up her phone and kicked me again.
“We’re all in this business! You think we’re idiots?”
“Blake Winters is a major entertainment CEO – like he’d be related to someone like you?”
“We checked. Blake doesn’t have a sister! Stop trying to make yourself sound important.”
“Want to keep working in this town? Get on your knees and apologize. Otherwise, kiss that fourth lead goodbye!”
Chloe shot a look at the others.
One girl pulled out a fruit knife and pressed it to my cheek.
I froze, barely breathing, eyes locked on the blade.
One wrong move and my face would be toast.
“It’s true! My dad and Blake’s dad were war buddies. My dad saved Blake’s father’s life. After the accident, I moved in with the Winters family. Blake really is my brother. I don’t have those kinds of feelings for him. If I did, why would I have waited until now?”
They exchanged looks, hesitating.
Chloe made a phone call, seemed like she was calling Aria.
“Okay, got it.”
Right after she hung up, Chloe kicked me hard in the chest.
“You’re lying to us! Aria asked, and Blake said he doesn’t have a sister.”
The world spun. My head hit the ground hard.
Felt like my brain got split open.
I saw flashing spots in front of my eyes.
Until they grabbed my collar and kept shaking me.
That’s when I came back to my senses a little.
Blake not acknowledging me – I should have seen this coming.
After all, when we were kids, he always thought I stole his parents‘ love away from him.
I couldn’t hold back the hurt.
Just then, a guy in a baseball cap quietly slipped in.
He stared at me, cracking his knuckles.
“She’s pretty hot! She won’t call the cops if we mess with her, right?”
