“Elijah called a couple of hours ago. Said if anyone finds you, we’re supposed to kill you and send him proof of your death.”

“I’m gonna let you go. Now scram,” he nodded and crawled out the door. Then I grabbed my bag and ran out the door and into the woods. The same man jumped on me again
“I’m going to kill you. I need that spot in the pack,” he growled. I got him off me and held him in a chock hold until he stopped breathing and his body went limp. I knew I couldn’t leave his body there so I shifted and dragged his body farther into the woods, burying him deep in the soil.
I didn’t know what to do so I just ran. I ran without stopping or looking back, but eventually, I got tired and collapsed. The sun wasn’t even up yet and I was still tired. My eyes got heavy, and I soon found myself once again falling asleep.
