Chapter 123 I Want to Learn From Her
Chapter 123 I Want to Learn From Her
There is no way this country girl knows Ryan!
Kaleb rolled his eyes and reminded Levi.
“Levi, you already have plenty of coaches, and your schedule’s packed.”
As a celebrity, he basically had to master everything from music to fine arts.
Even his chess coach was a national–level master,

So when it came to someone recommended by a country girl like Alice, Kaleb didn’t even bother taking it seriously.
But this time, Levi didn’t go along with him..
“Kaleb, cancel all my lessons. I want to learn from Mrs. Alice.”
Alice checked her watch.
“All right, I’ve got an hour. Let’s head to the hillside villa.”
Eric hadn’t spoken once the entire time.
Nor did he show any sign of stopping them. It was as if whatever Alice decided automatically counted as his decision too,
Kaleb asked innocently, Mr. Nolan, are you going with us as well?”
Eric replied flatly, “Of course.”
Kaleb pressed a hand to his forehead in frustration.
What on earth is going on with these people?
Why are they all trusting a country girl like her?
Fifteen minutes later, the group arrived at the hillside villa on the outskirts..
Levi handed Alice the script Risa had given him.
“This is the scene I’m supposed to do.”
After a pause, he added, “There’s another part where the prompt is drawn randomly.”
Alice glanced at the script. “All right, I’ll run lines with you.”
The female character in the scene was a powerful figure–decisive, brutal, and radiating a violent aura.
Kaleb didn’t say anything, but his sneer was unmistakable..
He clearly thought Alice would be nothing more than a robot reading lines without emotion.
The two of them took their positions.
Eric sat on the nearby sofa, his fingers tapping lightly on his thigh.
Alice gave a slight smile. “Mr. Quinn, let’s begin.”
The moment she spoke, her entire demeanor shifted.

The calm, easygoing aura from earlier vanished. A chilling presence settled around her.
Her eyes were now filled with a deadly intensity.
The way she looked at Levi–it was as if she were staring at a corpse.
When she raised her hand, it felt like a crushing force slammed down, suffocating and absolute.
Kaleb was stunned.
The sneer on his face froze in place.
Levi, on the other hand, felt completely drawn in. Alice’s energy pulled his emotions up instantly.
His performance became fuller, more convincing, driven by the surge of emotion.
Soon, the two–minute scene came to an end.
Alice flicked her hand lightly, and her expression softened again.
The air around her also returned to normal.
It was as if the woman who’d just climbed out of a mountain of corpses had only existed in their imagination.
Levi wiped the cold sweat from his brow
“Mrs. Alice, you’re incredible!”
Kaleb, still dazed, walked over and stared at her intently.
“Mrs. Alice, just now… were you leading the scene?”
There were two kinds of actors in the entertainment industry.

The first type could naturally pull their scene partners into the emotional state of the performance. Working with them felt effortless and smooth, and progress came quickly.
This was known as “scene leading”
But it required immense talent.
Only highly skilled veterans could pull it off.
The second type was what people called “crushing a scene“.
These actors were typically more technically skilled, and when paired with someone they didn’t respect, they’d dominate the scene’s energy so forcefully that their partner couldn’t keep up.
If the one being crushed had a stable mindset, they might just fall apart emotionally for a short period.
But if their mindset was fragile, it could leave lasting damage that stunted their acting for good, making future growth as an actor nearly impossible.
Therefore, those who could “lead a scene” were well–liked and deeply respected in the industry.
Those who “crushed a scene” might be resented, but no one dared to offend them.
Kaleb was beyond stunned.
He’d managed celebrities for years, but this was the first time he’d seen someone with the ability to lead a scene.
Most people in the industry were far too busy chasing money and fame to care about acting skills anymore.

The mily great actors–those with integrity–had long withdrawn from the spotlight, unwilling to be tainted by the chaos of the entertainment industry.
If Alice ever trily entered the industry, there was no doubt that one role would be enough to make her an overnight
Suddenly, Kaleb felt a pang of regret
The Nolans would never let her step into the messy world of the entertainment industry. What a shame.
ite looked at Alice with hopeful eyes
“Mrs. Alice, I want to apologize for what I said earlier, Can you forgive me?”
Kalel bowed to her slightly with his hand over his chest, like a sinner waiting to be pardoned.
Alice immediately stepped back in alarm.
he wasn’t about to accept that kind of apology.
When Kaleb straightened up and saw her reaction, a wave of regret and embarrassinent washed over him.
“Save the dramaties, Kaleb. I’m not some priest about to listen to your confession.”
Alice rolled her eyes so hard it was a miracle they didn’t get stuck.
She gave him a look like he’d just lit a candle and started singing funeral hymns.
Kalel, Trove for a moment.
Then, he couldn’t help but let out a light chuckle,
“Mrs. Alice, does that mean you’re not mad at me?”
Alice understood a bit about micro–expressions. The open scom and contempt Kaleb had shown earlier hadn’t escaped her
notice.
But to be frank, she couldn’t care less.
