Chapter 134 Kidnapping
Aelira’s POV
O Gets
“You hit someone!” Maria shrieks in pure terror, her hands gripping the seat as her voice quivers uncontrollably.
I inhale deeply, struggling to keep my composure while my heart thunders in my chest. My pregnant wolf whines nervously inside, sensing immediate peril.
With trembling hands, I unfasten my seatbelt, push open the door, and step out onto the road. The pungent odor of burned rubber from my tires scraping the asphalt fills my lungs.
Ahead, a bicycle lies toppled, its front wheel slowly revolving. Nearby, a man clad in a blue windbreaker sprawls motionless
on the ground.
My heart pounds furiously as I hurry to his side, my wolf’s heightened senses catching his scent.
“Are you alright? Can you hear me?” I call out, kneeling next to him.
Turning his face toward me with a grimace of pain, the man clutches his knee theatrically, groaning loudly about his injury.
“My leg… I think it’s broken,” he wails, rocking back and forth on the ground. “It hurts so much!”
Try not to move,” I say quickly, reaching for my phone. “I’ll call for an ambulance right now.”
Right as I reach for my phone to call for emergency help, the man who appeared to be hurt abruptly leaps to his feet with astonishing agility. His actions are smooth and calculated, a stark contrast to the agony he displayed moments before.
Before I have a chance to react, he swiftly yanks the phone from my grasp with remarkable accuracy.
“What are you doing?!” I exclaim, alarm surging through me and my wolf instincts flaring.
Instinc
Sensing that something is dreadfully amiss, I instinctively pivot and attempt to sprint back toward the safety of my vehicle. Inside, my pregnant wolf howls warnings, every nerve on edge.
But I barely manage a few frantic steps before his powerful hands clamp down on my arm with unyielding force.
“Marial” I cry out toward the car, willing her to intervene. “Get the enforcers! Call for help!”
I barely utter the words before he silences me, pressing his broad palm tightly over my mouth and cutting off my cries.
I thrash desperately, but his strength far exceeds mine. My body, carrying new life, feels powerless against his disciplined might.
Through the window, I lock eyes with Maria, silently begging for her help, my terror unmistakable. She sits motionless in the passenger seat, overtaken by fear.
Her skin drains of color, and she appears frozen, unable to process the violence erupting in front of her.
Eventually, Maria snaps out of her paralysis and frantically gropes for the door handle, desperate to get out.
The abductor immediately catches on to her attempt. With practiced ease, he delivers a precise blow to her neck.
Maria’s eyes flutter back, and she slumps, unconscious, into her seat, her body going limp.
“No!” I scream into his hand, the sound muffled but filled with panic.
In a final effort to break free, I sink my teeth deep into his hand, biting down as hard as I can, the taste of blood sharp on my tongue.
“Fuck!” He swears loudly, letting go just long enough to glance at his bleeding hand.
Seizing the moment, I dash toward the bustling street, desperate for someone to notice and help.
*Please! Somebody help!” I shout, my voice echoing across the intersection.
But my plea is cut short when a brutal blow lands on the back of my neck, sending pain shooting through my skull.
Instantly, my vision swims, and my legs give way. As I start to lose consciousness, my hands fly to my belly, instinctively

shielding my unborn pup.
I crumple to the ground, still clutching my abdomen..
Darkness swallows me whole.
I come to with a jolt as ice–cold water splashes across my face, soaking my skin and clothes.
The suffocating stench of gasoline invades my senses, making my stomach lurch. My neck aches with a sharp, twisted
pain.
A relentless headache throbs at my temples, each pulse intensifying the agony.
I attempt to move, only to realize I’m tightly bound with expertly tied ropes, every joint immobilized and movement rendered.
Impossible.
A crushing wave of horror sweeps over me–I realize I have been abducted.
“So, you’re awake at last?” comes a voice I recognize, its tone twisted with malice, echoing from somewhere above.
A hand seizes my chin, jerking my head upward. I am forced to meet the gaze of someone I know. The face before me is striking, yet transformed by seething hatred.
Standing over me is Cyrinne Wynthor, her green eyes alight with cruel satisfaction.
“You didn’t see this coming, did you?” she sneers, her stunning features distorted by fury. “Aelira Sunmere, this is what you truly deserve!”
Abruptly, she drives the sharp heel of her shoe into my ankle. The stiletto punctures my skin, sending a wave of agony through me and instantly bringing tears to my eyes.
“You ruined everything I had!” she spits, clutching my hair and wrenching my head back. “My good name, my sponsorships, my future with Alarion–all destroyed by your pathetic plotting!”
Her meticulously manicured fingers trail over my face, her nails scratching fine, stinging lines into my cheek.
“Want to know what I uncovered, you conniving little wolf?” she whispers, her voice suddenly cold and lethal. “I found out about that prenatal patemity test you arranged. You think you’re so clever, don’t you?”
Her claws dig harder into my flesh, her anger mounting.
‘Listen closely, Aelira Sunmere. I want your worthless existence to end right here, tonight!”
Cyrinne’s hands shift to my neck, her fingers squeezing tighter and tighter, around my throat.
“You left me no choice but this!” she shrieks, all traces of composure gone. “I spent years building my perfect life, and you shattered everything!”
Her grasp grows more brutal around my neck. Her nails slice harshly into my skin, drawing blood.
Both hands now choking me, she cuts off my air. I claw desperately for breath, my vision fading as oxygen is stolen from
- me.
My thoughts race to my unborn child, still safe inside me, and to Daelor’s gentle expression as he revealed his feelings. Is this really how everything ends for us?
Suddenly, a deafening crash reverberates through what looks like a deserted factory. The huge rolling door rattles violently, struck by some tremendous force.
Startled by the noise, Cyrinne’s hands fly from my throat. I slump against my bonds, coughing fiercely as air floods painfully back into my lungs.
Hot tears pour down my face as I fight to catch my breath. Through my hazy sight, I hear Cyrinne’s shocked cry echo through the empty building.
“Alarion?! It’s actually you?” she exclaims, her voice laced with disbelief.
I’m just as astonished, unsure if Alarion is here to save me or if he is somehow involved in this abduction.

“Cyrinne Wynthor, you’ve truly lost your sanity!” Alarion’s voice rings out, cold and commanding as he steps into the sparse light of the factory.
His amber eyes burn with rage as he glares at Cyrinne. The air becomes charged with his Alpha presence, radiating danger
and anger.
“Release her now
Cyrinne throws her head back and erupts into uncontrollable laughter, her voice rebounding off the hard concrete walls
surrounding us.
“Lost my sanity?” she shrieks in a deranged tone. “That’s right, Alarion, I’ve lost it completely! All thanks to what you and your pathetic she–wolf companion put me through!”

As Alarion moves toward us, Cyrinne abruptly seizes my hair again, pressing a cold silver blade tightly against the exposed skin of my throat.
The dagger’s keen edge slices a narrow line, drawing blood where it touches.
“If you come any closer, I’ll cut her throat right now!” Cyrinne wams, her threat ringing with lethal intent.
Alarion instantly halts, his imposing figure rigid with the effort to restrain his fury..
“Don’t harm her, Cyrinne,” he pleads, his voice strained and urgent. “Whatever you’re angry about, it’s with me–leave Aelira out of it.”
A chilling, calculating smile curves across Cyrinne’s lips, making my blood run cold.
She gestures toward someone concealed in the shadows not far away, someone I can’t make out from where I’m sitting on the floor.
“Bind him as well,” she orders, her tone icy and commanding.
