After getting on the car, Jonas pulled me into his arms and held me tightly, saying, “Darling, please don’t make me worry like that again, okay?”

Hearing Lena’s words, Jonas gently embraced me and said, “Mom, look at you, always having a sharp tongue but a tender heart. Can’t you say something warm when you care about Elisa?”
Lena forcefully flicked her sleeves a few times and said coldly, “Care about her? Maybe in the next life! I came here this time just to see when you two will get divorced! I want Roselyn to be my daughter–in–law!” As she spoke, she pushed Roselyn towards Jonas and looked at the two of them like admiring a painting. “Look, how perfect they are together!”
Roselyn’s body had already pressed against Jonas‘ chest, but Jonas refused, saying, “Mom, look at what you’re saying, Roselyn is a married woman.” However, his body involuntarily leaned towards Roselyn, and she just giggled without saying a word.
Looking at the three of them happily together, I couldn’t stay any longer, “Jonas, I’m feeling a bit tired, please spend some time with Roselyn and Lena…”
Jonas must have already been immersed in Roselyn’s tenderness, not even looking at me, just nodding twice to indicate agreement.
When I went upstairs and looked out from the balcony, Roselyn had already booked her arm around Jonas. Lena’s sharp voice came in, “Jonas, hurry up and get that woman out of the Graham family, she brings bad luck Roselyn’s flance is also useless, you two figure out a suitable time and get married as soon as possible!”
Upon hearing Lena’s words, Jonas looked at Roselyn with deep affection in his eyes. However, Roselyn’s evasive expression filled Jonas with boundless
bitterness.
I didn’t have the strength to continue watching, so I went back to bed and curled up under the blanket and fell into a deep sleep. When I woke up again, it was already dark outside. In a daze, 1 heard Jonas‘ familiar voice coming from outside the door.
“Roselyn, do you know how happy I was when Mom pushed you towards me today? That was a scene I had dreamed of countless times. Everything that I, Jonas, have ever wanted in my life, I have been able to obtain, except for you…”

s voice was hoarse, with a hint of sobbing. I had never seen Jonas so fragile. I quietly got off the bed and walked to the door, opening it slightly.
Roselyn embraced Junas, gently stroking his back, and comforted him softly, “Jonas, I also had a lot of helplessness, but I never expected you to make such a big sacrifice for me. Jonas, you have suffered…”
Upon hearing Roselyn’s words, Jonas suddenly kissed her lips as if he had gone mad. Roselyn was momentarily stunned, but then she tilted ber head back and responded passionately. After a moment of entanglement, Jonas whispered softly, “It’s not a burden, Roselyn. As long as you are happy, I don’t feel any hardship in doing anything…”
Jonas hadn’t finished speaking when Roselyn forcefully tore his shirt and passionately kissed him. I couldn’t bear to watch any longer, so I closed the door. A few minutes later, I heard the sound of the guest room door being opened, followed by the sounds of pleasure from a man and a woman coming from the room.
My stomach churned uncontrollably, as if there was a fire in my chest with nowhere to vent. I looked at the wall in front of me and banged my head against it heavily. After a moment of dizziness, that feeling finally eased a bit. I turned around and looked at my disheveled self in the mirror, howling and crying. And so, I sat in the room, dazed and motionless, until dawn. Jonas never came back, but the giggles from the adjacent room continued incessantly.
When the sky gradually brightened, the door of the room was pushed open from outside, and the one who came in was not Jonas, but Roselyn.
