Chapter 11
Three years later, Isabella had almost forgotten about the existence of the Hall family and Joseph.
Her Rose Manor became a popular spot online.
Although Isabella had been trying very hard to avoid the camera, her shadow was still captured by someone and posted online.
The trending topic of the famous spot on the Internet was quickly forwarded to Joseph
When Joseph saw this photo, he was in a meeting. He stood up from his seat in an emotional manner, and tears welled up in his eyes. He even left behind billions of dollars worth of orders when he rushed out of the door.
In the eyes of outsiders, the calm and decisive business tycoon, who used to be composed and resolute, would actually cry because of a woman and almost stumble because of a woman.
And Gabriel also saw the shadow of Isabella in the picture.
He immediately went to that island country to find her.
Gabriel hadn’t figured out how to face it yet when Isabella’s voice came through the crack in the door.
“Who?”
In echoed in Gabriel’s mind. He opened his mouth but couldn’t speak
Isabella pushed open the door and saw Gabriel. A hint of disbelief flashed across her face as she asked, “How did you come here?”
Gabriel looked at the woman in front of him, who he had been thinking about day and night, and he stepped forward to embrace her.
Isabella broke free from Gabriel’s embrace and mercilessly slapped him across the face.
“Are you out of your mind?“!
Gabriel covered his face, his eyes turning red in an instant. Although his heart felt like it had been pierced by countless shards of glass, causing him unbearable pain and making it difficult to breathe, he knew he deserved it. He forced a smile on his stiff face.
“Isa, I finally, finally found you!
Isabella couldn’t understand why the man who despised her so much and publicly canceled their engagement at the wedding banquet suddenly appeared at her doorstep. He was affectionately saying that he had found her.
“Isa, I love you,” Gabriel said, with a ridiculous slap mark on his face, uttering the most heartfelt words. Tears welled up in his eyes as he continued, “Isa, why won’t you believe me once? I truly love you.”
After three years of practice, Gabriel finally spoke out
He looked at Isabella eagerly and hopefully, but Isabella found it quite amusing
The man who had hurt her for eight years surprisingly said he loved her.
Isabella, unwilling to pay attention, directly closed the door. But unexpectedly, Gabriel’s hand got caught in the door crack, causing him to inhale a sharp breath of cold air in pain.
Isabella reluctantly compromised and let him in. She had a cold expression on her face as she placed the first aid kit in front of Gabriel
Gabriel’s smile true for a moment.
“Iza, aren’t you helping me anymore?” Gabriel said in a low voice, but Isabella still heard it.
She glanced Gabriel’s injured hand. His four fingers were already swollen
Isobell’s heart had long been harder than a stone and colder than an ice cube,
Isabella turned her eyes away, looked at the green ivy on the window, and said faintly, “Don’t you still have your right hand?”
When Gabriel heard the words, the forced smile on his face could no longer hold on, and tears kept falling on the back of his hand.
He almost fled in a panic and rushed out of the door.
Gabriel didn’t know how to face Isabella, and the only felt that every word she said stabbed a knife into his heart.
