A waiter quickly brought over a magnifying glass, and the LED screen behind Trina showed a close–up of the bracelet.
Trina effonlessly found the logo, the authenticity undeniable. She explained, “This is our standard mark, but T&M is my personal masterpiece. I even engraved its name inside.”
The image on the screen shifted, zooming in to reveal the tiny “TMI” etched into the clasp. The room fell into a stunned silence–there was no denying the truth.
But Trina wasn’t about to let it end there. Lisa’s earlier attitude had left a bitter taste in her mouth. She had initially considered letting her off the hook, but since Lisa refused to back down. Trina decided to return the favor–without any mercy.
Pointing directly at Lisa, the cameras immediately shifted to follow her gesture. In an instant, Lisa’s pale, stricken face filled the LED screen.
“Everyone recognizes Ms. Reid’s jewelry, right? It’s clearly Clarissa’s work–hoth in craftsmanship and design?” Trina asked innocently, though there was a mischievous gleam in her eyes.

Truman stiffened, ready to step in and defend his sister, but Trina gently patted his shoulder, signaling it wasn’t necessary.
“I absolutely can,” she replied calmly. Because this set? It’s just a practice plece. It doesn’t even have the Clarissa logo on it”
“Impossible?” Lisa screamed. “Cyril paid a fortune for this. Are you admining to selling fakes?”
Trina laughed mirthlessly, her eyes cold. “Oh, it’s not even a fake. It’s scrap material, at best.”
“Lixr!” Lisa jabbed an accusing finger at Trina. “You’re just trying to humiliate me in front of everyone. Now that you’ve revealed yourself as Chrissa, you can deny it and no one will dare argue. But facts can’t be twisted!”
She couldn’t believe Trina would dare sell a piece of crap material for 30 million dollars since that would definitely destroy the brand’s reputation.
Confident in her logic, Lha strode onto the stage, removed her necklace, and grabbed the magnifying glass. She canned it thoroughly but found no engraving. Frustrated, she took off her earrings and checked them too. Still nothing.
Trina casually snatched the necklace from Lisa’s hands. With a smirk, she said, “Don’t bother looking. Do you think I wouldn’t know if something that came from me was marked or not!”
The crowd’s gaze towards Lisa slowly turned to contempt. She was the one who said wearing fake jewelry at such an event was embarrassing, yet now it was her tum, and what she wore wasn’t even as good as a fake–it was merely a piece of scrap.
Trina twirled Lisa’s earrings and necklace in her hand, her voice dripping with sarcasm. “As for whether it’s worth 30 million dollars… well, that’s subjective, isn’t it?”
She glanced at Cyril, whose face had darkened considerably. “Mr. Banks is certainly generous. When trying to please his beloved, it’s the thought that counts, isn’t it Besides, the jewels themselves are worth a few million. It’s not entirely worthless. Ms. Reid should be satisfied with that.”
Lisa was left speechless, realizing that arguing further would only make her seem materialistic and insincere towards Cynil. She had no choice but to swallow this bitter pill..

Lane chimed in. “If I’d known earlier, I have stayed far away. People might think I wear scraps too if they saw us together.”
The chatter continued, each comment more cutting than the lou. “Can you imagine! Parading around in that? It’s like she’s advertising her own worthlessness.”
