Chapter 5
Chapter 5
Lisa’s indignation boiled over as she spat. “Do you have any idea who we are? This is Cyril Banks, the richest man in Regensfeld! How dare you-”
But her tirade was cut short when a security guard grabbed her arm, dragging her toward the exit.
“Cyril!” Lisa shouted, her eyes wide with panic as she sought his protection.
Cyril’s face hardened, a frosty mask setting over his face. With a swift motion, he shoved the guard away from Lisa. “We can handle this ourselves.” he growled, his voice as cold as ice.
Trina watched them with an impassive expression. From now on, you’re both blacklisted. We won’t sell any of our products to either of you again
Cyril’s face darkened, his eyes turning icy, and his jaw clenched. He had to admit, Trina really had some nerve.
Once outside, Liu’s face crumpled into a pout. “They were so awful to u I can’t believe Trina would treat you like that, Cyril. You were married, for heaven’s sake! Doesn’t that count for anything!
She glanced at Cyril, hoping for sympathy, but his mind was elsewhere. A seed of doubt began to sprout in her thoughts. Is he distracted by that gold–digging tramp? she wondered.
Cyril’s mind was indeed consumed with thoughts of Trina, barely registering Lisa’s complaints. He was still trying to process how Trina had stood
up to him, refusing to back down.
“If it were any other store, we could just file a complaint,” Lisa whined. “But this is Clarissa’s shop”
Clarisa was a world–renowned jewelry designer, adored in the fashion world. Her creations were covered by socialites and the ultra–wealthy, and this was her only store in the country. Owning a Clarissa piece was a major status symbol.
Lisa wanted to buy Clariu’s jewelry to show off how much Cyril spoiled her.
“If you like Clarissa’s designs so much, Cyril said tensely. Tll commission a custom set for you.
Lisa’s frown instantly morphed into a beaming smile. “Oh, Cyril, you’re the best!”
When Jenny learned about the farce, she was fuming. “Can you believe those two? They’re completely unreasonable,” she said, knowing Trina’s impending divorce. “Lisa was clearly trying to get under your skin, and the nerve of her buying couple rings when you’re not even officially divorced yet – that’s just audacious,
Jenny’s rant didn’t stop there. And don’t even get me started on your ex–husband. He’s totally blind to her innocent act. He has no idea what he’s losing in you. Those two are a match made in hell”
Trina snapped out of her daze, shaking her head. “It’s all water under the bridge now. Tomorrow, I’ll be officially divorced, and that’s all that
matters.”
Jenny let out a relieved sigh. “Good riddance. You deserve so much better. Trina. You’re amazing and I’m sure you’ll have guys lining up around the block for you in no time”
Just then. Jenny’s phone pinged with a message. Her eyes widened as she read it, and she turned to Trina with a mischievous grin. “You won’t believe this. Cyril wants to commission a custom set from Clarissa- your alter ego- for Lisa. And he’s offering million The irony is just too rich” Trina’s lips curved into a sly smile. “Tell him it’ll cost 30 million dollars,” she said, a hint of satisfaction in her voice.
There was no point in letting a good opportunity slip away, especially when it came with a hefty price tag.
Trina had been too proud to take anything from Cyril when they broke up, but now she realized how wrong she was. It was high time for Cyril and his new girlfriend to face the consequences
The next morning, Trina arrived at the court, looking stunning in an ombré ice–blue mermaid gown.
Cyril’s black
Rolls–Royce Phantom was already parked outside, its sleek design a testament to his wealth and status
As she approached the car, the window rolled down, revealing Cyril’s chiseled face. Their eyes met, and for a moment, the air was electric.
Cyril’s gaze smoldered with intensity, his eyes drinking in the sight of Trina’s radiant beauty. The gown hugged her curves in all the right places, and her blonde hair was swept up, showcasing the elegant line of her neck.

Her features, always lovely, now had a captivating allure that left him momentarily speechless.
Trina broke the silence by tapping on the window. “Let’s get this over with,” she said, her voice firm. “Time to finalize this divorce.”
Cyril collected himself and stepped out of the car, his eyes never leaving Trina’s face.
As they walked into the building, he asked gruffly. “Are you sure you’re ready to do this?”
Trina didn’t flinch. “Absolutely,” she replied, her gaze fixed ahead.
Cynl fell silent, his eyes narrowing into slits. As CEO of Banks Group, he wouldn’t beg a woman to change her mind, no matter how stunning she looked. He’d already offered Trina a chance to work things out, and she’d blown him off.
After finalizing the paperwork. Trina held the divorce certificate with a small, satisfied smile. The sight twisted Cyril’s stomach into knots. Her apparent joy at being free of him caught him off guard, and for a moment, he felt like he’d been punched in the gul
As he was about to speak, a sleek Bugatti Veyron came roaring up, tires screeching as it came to a halt just a few feet from them. A ridiculously handsome guy stepped out one of those top–tier celebrities Cyril instantly recognized from TV.
Before Cyril could process the situation, Truman strode up to Trina and wrapped a protective arm around her waist. “Let’s go, Trina” he said softly.
Cyril’s anger ignited, and he blocked their path, his eyes blazing into Trina’s “What’s going on here?” he demanded, his fury evident. “Who is this buy to you?”
