“Mr. Xiao, since you already said that I’m your pet, then how could you understand what I say?” Hua Shengan blinked, acting confused. She knew that he could read her mind, so all she could do was put up
an act.
“You can have fun with this thing.”
The car stopped outside the Hua villa, and Xiao Chengjue passed a steel dart to Hua Shengan. She didn’t see where he took it from and hesitated whether to take it or not when she noticed his sneer.
“Keep it with you. You are only worth this item.”
“Whatever Mr. Xiao gives me, it must be the best. I will keep it as if it is a treasure to me.”
Xiao Chengjue’s expression became disdainful as he knew that Hua Shengan was saying it half–heartedly. “Your life belongs to me. Don’t kill yourself too early.”
Hua Shengan left the moment he closed the car door.
She looked at herself. The way she dressed was strange. What’s more, she was holding a steel dart in her hand. A knife would be better than this steel dart. It looks weird! Hua Shengan mused.
“Ms. Hua, please wait. Mr. Xiao wanted to give this to you. Have a look when you are at home.” Qian rushed up to her and passed her a box. His eyes held emotions that Hua Shengan couldn’t understand.
“It’s not a gun, right?” Hua Shengan frowned, looking at the box. An uninhibited man like him would never gift women with accessories or debit cards. Besides, the box didn’t look the part.
Hearing Hua Shengan’s question, Qian was amazed. Ms. Hua is really compatible with the boss. She even knows that he won’t give gems or fancy stuff as presents. I mustn’t look down on her as she might become Mrs. Xiao in the future.
“Hua Shengan, you cruel woman! You sent Luo Tian into jail while you messed around with other men! How can you be so shameless?!” A shrill voice echoed in the hall the moment she stepped into the house. Hua Ranran rushed to her, losing her grace and dignity.
Anger flamed in her eyes as she riled up Hua Shengan.
“Aunt Rong, where is everybody else?” Hua Shengan ignored her and questioned when she saw Aunt Rong. She assumed that no one was at home since Hua Ranran made a fuss without caring about her image.
“Sir hasn’t returned home since last night, and Madam is still outside too.”
If it wasn’t for Xiao Chengjue causing trouble for her today, she would’ve gathered more evidence. Hua Shengan just wanted to rest now as she was tired. “Aunt Rong, please send the food up to my room later.”
“Why are you acting like a spoiled brat? You are nothing in the Hua family. After hooking up with one man and you are already being complacent. Once he dumps you, you would still have to return to the Hua family. Release Luo Tian before everyone loses face!”
Hua Ranran took a step forward, glaring at Hua Shengan with eyes filled with hatred and disgust.
“Hua Ranran, you are so dumb. Are you even sure that Liu Ke is dead?”
“You are doing everything for that bastard. Aren’t you scared that he will turn his back on you for his own

“You’re speaking nonsense! Luo Tian is not that kind of person.” Hua Ranran’s scream echoed in the living room as she pointed at Hua Shengan. Her face was drained of colors. She stared at Hua Shengan, who was calm, and laughed.
“You are just jealous that Daddy and Luo Tian treats me well. Even though you are the eldest daughter, you have nothing! You are just a pitiful person!”
“I told you before that my goal was not sending you into jail. Since you love to steal from me so much, I will make you watch as I take everything back from you, starting from Luo Tian,” Hua Shengan said with a gloomy tone.
Hua Shengan grinned cunningly with eyes as cold as ice as if she was here to haunt Hua Ranran. It made Hua Ranran tremble with fear, and she took a step back.
“There’s one more thing. Are you really a child of the Hua family? You should ask your Mom about it in private.”
Then, Hua Shengan went upstairs while giving Hua Ranran a smile full of mockery, leaving the latter downstairs feeling furious and stunned.
