Chapter 19
The construction of the pack in the town was nearly complete. Most houses still retained their original structures, with only reinforcements added to the walls.
Education, training, and medical facilities had also been established, and the pack members living in the town were
genuinely happy.
“It’s wonderful. Your efforts have truly been worthwhile,” Deacon praised sincerely, standing beside Chelsea by the
window as they watched the young wolves outside.
“Everyone has contributed. I think it turned out really well.” Chelsea smiled warmly but then gathered herself, a hint of
reluctance in her eyes. “We should go. There are other places that need us.”
Chelsea wanted to help more people with her strength, giving more children access to education and providing support to
the elder werewolves.
“All right, let’s go,” Deacon said, a quiet smile tugging at the corners of his lips. The subtle change in their relationship was evident; at least now she no longer sent him away.

Adam’s eyes instantly reddened. Her distant demeanor stabbed sharply at his heart.
He had imagined countless reunion scenes-her crying, throwing tantrums, hysterically demanding why he had lied to
her…

“Babe… please don’t treat me like this,” he stammered, his voice hoarse and torn.
“Alpha, we had never sealed the mate bond. I’m not your Luna. It ended between us long ago. No matter what you say, I
don’t want to hear it,” Chelsea cut him off.
He shook his head desperately, rushed forward, and reached out to embrace her.
“No, you are my Luna. I love you.”
Chelsea stepped back and raised her hand, delivering a sharp slap.
“Alpha, show some respect.
