Chapter 12

Adam was walking toward the stage when he heard the doors open. His steps paused, and he instinctively turned to look.

“You finally showed up.”

A quiet sigh of relief escaped him, only for his brows to tighten the moment he saw who it was.

It wasn’t Chelsea. It was her lawyer, Deacon.

Deacon strode toward Adam, step by steady step, and held out a document folder.

“Alpha, Ms. Jerome has entrusted me to deliver these to you.” His tone was strictly professional as he opened the folder and pulled out several sheets of paper.

“This,” he said, holding up the first page, “is proof that you and Luna Anna sealed the mate bond in Andorra. And this one

is the fake bond-sealing deal between you and my client. From this moment on, your cohabitation ends. Neither party is

to interfere in the other’s life.”

“The division of assets involving both parties has been settled. My client has returned all gifts and property. This is the

itemized list.”

“This is evidence that Luna Anna poisoned my client, along with the toxicology report.”

“This is my client’s miscarriage report.”

“And this,” he said, slapping down another page, “is proof that you had someone assault my client. She suffered serious

injuries and reserves the right to pursue criminal charges at any time.”

Deacon tossed the evidence down one item after another, watching as Adam’s face grew paler with each document.

Then Deacon smirked. “Alpha, if you and Luna Anna can behave and leave Chelsea alone, she’s willing to let the past go.”

“And one more thing, she wishes you and Luna Anna a long and happy life together.” He pulled out a USB flash drive.

“There are quite a few interesting videos on the USB flash drive. Take your time and enjoy them, Alpha.”

After finishing speaking, without sparing Adam a second glance, Deacon turned and walked straight out of the pack hall.

The pack members attending the dinner party were all visibly shocked. Adam’s friends were especially stunned, their

expressions shifting as they stared at Anna.

They had helped someone this malicious deceive Chelsea. A wave of guilt washed over them like they’d been

accomplices to something unforgivable.

Their eyes turned toward Anna, no longer with admiration, but with suspicion and contempt.

“That’s not true! Adam, don’t believe him. Chelsea’s trying to frame me!” Anna’s cheeks flushed with shame. She panicked and threw herself at Adam subconsciously, trying to cover the documents with her body.

Adam stood frozen.

His eyes, bloodshot and terrifying, locked on her. His entire body was tense as he looked down at Anna.

His voice was cold and sharp. “Get off!”

“Adam, please believe me! I love Chelsea just as much as you do. How could I possibly hurt her?” Anna clung to his leg, sobbing and pleading nonstop.

Adam’s gaze didn’t waver. It was sharp as he stared at her. Her gaze faltered under his intensity, and she turned her head

away in guilt.

“Out. All of you. Get out!”

His fury exploded. The inexplicable fear and dread burning inside him ignited into a roar at all the pack members.

Anna quickly stood and was about to step away when Adam’s cold voice cut through the air,

“Anna stays.”

Her body jolted violently, frozen in place and shaking uncontrollably.

She had never seen Adam like this before-never seen this terrifying side of him.

Adam ordered the warriors to tie her to a chair. Then, he plugged the USB into the laptop.

The first video played. It was a surveillance clip from his hotel room in Andorra. Through a crack in the door, he could see

himself and his friends discussing how to seal the mate bond with Anna.

The second video was him accompanying Anna to a prenatal checkup, feeding her at The Silver Fork restaurant.

The videos played one after another.

The tenth video was Chelsea lying alone in a hospital bed, tormented by the pain of losing her child.

The final video was a clip Anna had sent Chelsea, one that had made Adam believe Chelsea had hurt Anna…

When the last frame faded, silence fell over the room like a death shroud.

Adam’s eyes brimmed with grief and fury.

From beginning to end, Chelsea had been the victim.

And it was him-he had been the one who pushed Chelsea who had loved him so deeply straight into the abyss.
