Chapter 2
Suddenly, there was a burst of noise in my ears.
I looked up and saw a group of hooligans with dyed yellow hair jokingly grabbing a short–haired. girl with low eyebrows and a pleasing appearance out of the school gate.
It was clearly bullying.
I furrowed my brow, this is supposed to be the best aristocratic school in the city, how could such a
situation occur.
For some reason, that girl with short hair always made me feel familiar, and I couldn’t help but
follow her.
The group of hooligans arrived at a hidden alley, where the long–haired girl with a beautiful and charming face led them. However, what she did next left everyone stunned.
She kicked the short–haired girl in the waist, causing her to instantly fall to the ground in pain.
The long–haired girl sneered, “I heard Remington gave you a super big birthday gift, take it out and show everyone, will you?”
The girl with short hair held her school bag tightly in her arms and trembled, saying, “This won’t
do!”
The long–haired girl kicked her again, her face showing a maliciousness beyond her age. She spat at the short–haired girl and said fiercely, “Allison, you don’t know what’s good for you!”
The moment I heard the name, my heart felt like it was tightly gripped by a pair of large hands,
Allison… When I was pregnant, Remington and I had already decided on the name for our child,
Allison Maxwell.
I suddenly looked at the girl on the ground, even though her bright eyes were still not hidden by the
thick short hair.
Who else could it be if not my daughter, with a striking resemblance to me!
Just then, the long–haired girl looked down on the people around her and ordered, “Snatch her backpack for me! And strip off her clothes, this time teach her a lesson, let’s see if she dares to defy
me again in the future.”
I squinted my eyes, and the anger had already burned away my last trace of reason, wishing to immediately tear the person in front of me into a thousand pieces.
Oh, you Remington, so my daughter used to live like this every day, huh…

I picked up the stick next to the trash bin and rushed forward. I pushed through the crowd and stood.
in front of Allison.
The long–haired girl was startled after she saw my appearance, and then she started to curse loudly as if she had been provoked, “What’s it to you if I bully her? If you know what’s good for you, you better get lost, or else I’ll beat you up too!”
“Speak less nonsense,” I coldly said, “None of you can escape.”
A group of little brats who hadn’t even grown their hair yet, when I single–handedly rescued Remington from the kidnappers‘ hands, they hadn’t even been born yet.
