Chapter 5
David had been suppressing his emotions until now, but they finally erupted.
He pointed at Patrick and angrily said,
“Your little lover, drove and caused Gracie to have a premature birth. The child missed the best
time for rescue and suffocated inside Gracie’s belly.”
Her mother, also passed away suddenly due to a shock.
“Patrick, all of this, it was your doing!”
Patrick stood there in disbelief.
He looked around and sneered.
Tore the divorce agreement in hand into pieces.
“Grandpa, you were so old, you shouldn’t have acted with Gracie anymore.”
“I didn’t believe that she would divorce me. How could she bear to leave the Harper family’s power
and wealth behind?”
Patrick kicked the wreath next to him.
“Perfectly fine, placing these things at home, not even considering them as inauspicious, aren’t
all angry that I never came home to see the children.”

“I have already come back, haven’t I? Where is the child? Bring him over for me to see. Have you given him a name? Does he look more like me or like Gracie?”
Patrick hummed a little tune as he looked around.
All the servants of the Harper family hung their heads, wearing sad expressions.
No one paid attention to what he said.
Seeing this scene, Patrick felt a slight sense of unease in his heart.
He searched for it in the villa.
After searching everywhere without success, the tone also became somewhat unnatural.
“Where did you hide my child?”
“Grandpa, I know I went a bit too far with what I did last time, I shouldn’t have gotten physical with
5.95%
Gracie.”
“But the children were already born, can she still divorce me? You quickly tell me where she is, I
will
go find her and apologize to appease her.”
Patrick did not take Gracie’s anger and frustration to heart.
He knew that Gracie couldn’t live without him.
No matter how outrageous things he did, Gracie had to swallow all the grievances alone for the sake
of her mother.
Moreover, they now have children.
Gracie had another layer of concern.
Patrick didn’t believe that she would get divorced.
I didn’t believe that she would leave.
David picked up a cane and struck Patrick heavily.
“You beast, how did the Harper family raise such a wretched person like you!”
“Don’t reject a good woman like Gracie and treat an internet celebrity as a treasure.”
Patrick shrugged indifferently.
He simply crossed his legs and sat down on the sofa.
“Did you guys see that trending topic, so you joined hands to act, right?”
“Grandfather, those women and I were just playing around, Gracie is the most important woman in my heart. I never thought of letting any other woman replace her.”
“If you didn’t believe, I would prove it to you right now.”
Speaking, Patrick called Jessica.
“Do you still like the wedding dress? I have already bought it for you. You are not young anymore, so find a good person to marry and don’t appear in front of me again in the future.”
Without waiting for a response from the other party.
Patrick had skillfully blocked Jessica.
Then he spread his hands and looked at David with a smile.
5.95%
“Are you satisfied now?”
“Alright, let Gracie take the children and come home with me. I can promise her that I will go home to be with her and the children on odd–numbered days, and go out on even–numbered days…”
David was infuriated by Patrick’s nonchalant attitude.
He was determined to teach his incompetent grandson a good lesson.
As soon as he lifted the cane, he felt a dizzy spell.
The continuous blows and exhaustion completely broke down the elderly person.
He covered his chest and fell straight down.
