Through the gap of a half–open door, Hannah caught sight of a familiar face.
Still that same refined beauty, laughing and chatting with the patient in the bed.
A flicker of cold light passed through Hannah’s eyes. “I want this room.”
The head nurse blinked. “Ah… this one’s already occupied-”
Hannah ignored her, one arm in a sling, the other pushing the door wide open.
The sound made everyone look toward the entrance.

Hannah stood there with a mocking smile. “I want this room. You all can move somewhere else.”
Stella frowned slightly but didn’t speak.
Nancy recognized Hannah immediately–clearly she was here to get back at Stella for the humiliation of being kicked out of Starlight Group last time.
That incident had been the talk of the entire company.
Nancy couldn’t help herself. “You’re ridiculous. We were here first. You think you can just order us out? What, is this your family’s hospital?”
Hannah arched a brow. “That’s right. It is.”
Nancy froze, wishing she could crawl into a hole.
Damn it. Hannah had just scored the perfect comeback.
The head nurse shifted uneasily. This was obviously against hospital rules, but Hannah was the girlfriend of the Brooks family’s eldest young master and a top star–who would dare cross her?
Thinking quickly, she approached with a placating smile. “How about this? I’ll move you to a bigger VIP suite at no extra cost. Would that be okay?”

And at the door, a professional–looking woman whose confidence clearly faltered under the situation.
For some reason, the nurse addressed her words to Stella, the girl who looked no more than seventeen or eighteen–because something about her just felt like she was the one in charge.
Hannah’s gaze settled on Stella, her tone imperious. “Move. Or get out entirely.”
At Starlight Group, she’d been humiliated in front of so many people.
Now that she had the chance, she intended to return the favor–make Stella feel exactly what it was like to be driven out in shame.
But the moment Stella heard “bigger VIP room” and “no extra cost,” her eyes curved in delight. “Alright. Let’s switch–right now.”
For a moment, Hannah felt like she’d punched a pillow, her momentum collapsing into frustration.
“No! Who gave you the authority to make that decision? You’re not allowed to move them into a better room than this one!” she snapped at the head nurse.
What kind of lunatic is this?
Don’t make life harder for the staff.
Stella smiled. “Then we won’t move. We’re paying customers. Even if this hospital belongs to your family, you don’t have the right to treat us this way.”
Nancy lifted her chin a little. “That’s right–we could report you.”
Hannah laughed outright. “Do you think this hospital doesn’t have anyone backing it?”
The head nurse’s eyes widened in horror.
Was she really saying that out loud?
Not even the director would dare be so blatant.
Flustered, she tugged at Hannah’s sleeve. “Hannah, don’t do this. The room next door is bigger–I’ll set you up there instead.”
“No. I want this one. Throw them out!” Hannah insisted.
The head nurse lowered her gaze. “I’m sorry. I can’t do that.”

Chapter 88 The Wrong Room
Hannah’s teeth clenched. “Fine. Wait until you’re fired.”
Her phone rang. Seeing Lucas’s name, she stepped into the hall to answer.
“Lucas, are you here?”
Lucas had just parked when he realized this was the same hospital Stella had come to yesterday.
Ashford was their home turf; his family owned several private hospitals here.
He’d planned to drop by in the afternoon, but now it seemed he was needed sooner.
“Which room are you in? I’ll come find you,” Lucas said.
Hannah’s voice turned sweet. “I’m in the VIP ward. I want a certain room, but the head nurse refuses to give it to me.”
“Which head nurse dares treat you like that? I’m coming right now,” Lucas replied.
Ending the call, Hannah’s smile bloomed.
She was injured–Lucas would definitely be indulgent.
Kicking one patient out wouldn’t cost him anything worth mentioning.
