Chapter 110 Just a Game
Stella was momentarily stunned by how cool Tina looked. She stood with her feet together and gave a salute. “Yes, sir!”
A rare smile flickered across Tina’s otherwise chilly face, making her even more stunning.
A few of the lawyers looked surprised.
Tina was usually all business when dealing with them–stern and intimidating.
Stella left things to the professionals and took Jimmy back to Jenn’s hospital room.
Since they were already at Harmony Hospital, of course she had to spend some time with Jenn.
Lucas didn’t sleep a wink all night because of the pain in his tongue. When he realized Stella hadn’t come to the hospital that morning, he got even more irritated.
Hannah, despite her injured arm, still had to take care of Lucas.
When she asked what had happened, Lucas typed on his phone that he’d gotten into an argument with the director while trying to take time off to care for her, and accidentally bit his tongue.
Hannah was deeply moved.
When Lucas stepped outside for some fresh air, he saw Stella back in the hospital room.
That lifted his mood again.
His tongue was doing much better today–still sore, but manageable..
All Jimmy’s fault!
Still, Lucas had done a lot of thinking the night before.
Stella was even more strong–willed than he’d realized, and incredibly vengeful.
Getting her to yield would be next to impossible.

His mom had been against him dating Stella at first, but once she heard Stella was a top SAT scorer, she changed her mind immediately.
If he wanted to get back together with Stella, he’d have to woo her just like he did back then- with unwavering persistence.
After all, he was someone she had liked. That had to give him an advantage this time around.
And those younger guys couldn’t be allowed to turn into enemies.
Xavier would be tough to deal with he had both status and money.
But Logan was a different story.
Just some brute who only knew how to throw punches. The guy had even lived in a slum at one point. Trash.
As long as Lucas showed him a little kindness, he was sure Logan would take his side.
And with Logan’s help, Lucas’s odds of winning would improve significantly.
First step: get Hannah transferred out. Stella couldn’t keep seeing the two of them acting

Back in the hospital room, Lucas mumbled through the lingering pain in his tongue, “I arranged for you to transfer this afternoon to Harmony Hospital downtown. The medical care there is better–it’ll help your recovery.”
Hannah kissed the corner of his mouth. “Thank you, Lucas. Love you.”
That afternoon, Stella didn’t send Jimmy back to school. She figured she might as well tutor him herself.
Once the new principal took over, she’d arrange for his transfer.
In the hospital room, she worked through practice problems while Jimmy tackled a test packet she’d bought for him.
Time flew by, and soon it was evening.
Stella’s phone buzzed.

She picked it up and saw a contact labeled Harmony Hospital.
She accepted the message. A moment later, a new one came through.

“Stella, Hannah and I were just pretending. Yesterday was to make you jealous. I love you. Let’s get back together!”
Stella frowned. She had no idea what Lucas was thinking. Wasn’t the female lead supposed to be his true love?
She casually replied, “What the hell is all this nonsense? Why isn’t it letting me copy this to my account?”
Then she blocked him.
Right after, she got another message on WhatsApp. This one was from Nathan.
“Do you need me to pick you up tonight?”
This WhatsApp account was newly registered, and she didn’t have many contacts yet.
The people she messaged regularly were Ethan, Tina, and Logan.
She hadn’t added Xavier yet.
His international concert tour hadn’t wrapped up, and it would be a while before he came back.
Still, Stella could already picture that crybaby losing it once he found out she’d been back all this time without contacting him.
And knowing his personality, the second she told him, he’d jump on a plane and fly back— nothing could
stop him.
But a concert tour wasn’t just about him. There were staff behind the scenes, fans waiting, all of it.
He was already a black–and–red top–tier celebrity. After thinking it over, Stella decided to wait until he came back on his own.
Sure, she could fly to him instead, but the problem was–she was scared of flying.
Her parents had died in a plane crash.
Sometimes, Stella couldn’t believe how much of a coward she’d become. Planes terrified her,
