“Some of the kids who don’t want trouble just hand it over. The rest? They side with our boss and go against him.”
Stella frowned slightly.
Did Jimmy knock out two of the principal’s teeth because the guy was covering for Simon?
Soon, the two of them reached the door of Class One.
Once again, Stella looked through the window, but she still didn’t see Jimmy.
That didn’t make sense. Jimmy should’ve been in class by now.
“Where is he? Why don’t I see him?” she muttered under her breath.
Harry grinned. “You won’t see him from here. Our boss sits in the last row, next to the wall, right by the back door. Since he’s always late or leaves early, the teacher made him sit by the door to ‘stand guard.””
Stella walked over to the back door of Class One. It was open.
She peeked her head inside.
She saw Jimmy sprawled across his desk, sound asleep. His desk mate–a blond–haired kid— was passed out next to him, the two of them napping shoulder to shoulder.
The teacher was up front, lecturing passionately, while the two in the back were having a one–on–one with the Sandman.
No wonder Jimmy only scored sixty out of seven hundred and fifty. It wasn’t just the environment’s fault.
Stella lifted her foot, just about to step into the room, but Harry grabbed her arm and whispered, “Hey, what are you doing? Don’t tell me you’re planning to wake the boss up. He hates being disturbed while he’s sleeping. His right–hand man, Blondie, doesn’t even dare. Last time the principal caught him asleep, he pretended not to see!”
Stella shook her head. “I won’t wake him.”
Harry let go of her.
The next second, he watched as Stella snuck in, quick and precise, and grabbed Jimmy’s ear.

Harry’s eyes nearly popped out of his skull, and he couldn’t stop the curse from slipping out of his mouth.
You said you wouldn’t wake him–so now you’re yanking him awake?
The classroom had been filled only with the teacher’s voice, a few whispers, and the soft rumble of snoring.
Harry’s shout made every single student turn toward the back door.
Even the teacher looked over.
Everyone saw a pretty girl gripping Jimmy’s ear.
Eyes widened across the room.
Who is she? What is she doing?
The teacher’s mouth opened slightly. That was the kid who even dared to punch the principal.
That was Jimmy’s nickname among the faculty–the “Killer.” Apparently, it was coined by a teacher who liked reading novels.
The teacher didn’t want to get involved. But seeing it was a girl, his heart wavered a little.
Jimmy had never been seen hitting a girl before, but it wasn’t out of the question.
“You-”
Before he could finish, he saw the girl lift Jimmy’s entire head by the ear.
And the so–called Killer opened his eyes, rage already boiling in them.
The teacher’s mouth twitched.
Rest in peace. There’s nothing I can do to save you.
The pain jolted Jimmy awake. He opened his eyes, violent fury flickering inside.
Too many times, he’d been beaten awake in the middle of the night–just because that man had been drunk.

person
A delicate, beautiful face filled his vision, her dazzling almond eyes practically spitting fire.
In an instant, all the anger in Jimmy’s eyes vanished–replaced by instinctive fear.
Whenever Stella got angry, no one in the house wasn’t scared.
Ethan had said that back when their parents were still around, even their dad was afraid of her when she got mad. Every time it happened, he’d buy snacks, toys, and gold trinkets by the box to calm her down.
Everyone held their breath. Some wanted to step in but didn’t dare. The tension was thick in the air.
But the next second, the violent school tyrant didn’t explode–instead, he flashed a sheepish smile.
Thank god! Salvation at last! She’s the Killer’s natural enemy!
Stella noticed everyone staring and didn’t want to keep disrupting class. She quickly let Jimmy’s ear, gave him a glare, and said in a low voice, “Pay attention in class.”
Jimmy nodded like a chicken pecking rice, his long bangs bouncing slightly.
When he saw that Blondie was still sleeping, he kicked his chair.
Blondie jolted awake. “Lunch? Is it lunch time?!”
Then he turned his head, spotted Stella, and his eyes went wide.
A second later, he quickly wiped his eyes and mouth to look presentable.
Jimmy felt a wave of anxiety. Why was his sister here today?
Oh–right. Ethan had mentioned last night that they were coming today to handle his transfer.
So Stella must’ve come with Ethan.

Even though he hadn’t gone to work last night, he hadn’t been able to fall asleep either. In the
