Chapter 11
Soon, the wedding day became.
As soon as Julian got off the plane, he hurriedly rushed to the location that Marcus had told him.
The venue decoration was in an ancient style. It was exactly the kind he had fantasized about countless times over the past three years.
But Julian soon realized that something was wrong.
The groom was not Marcus.
Suddenly, a chill surged from the soles of his feet to his mind.
A bad thought slowly emerged.
The groom was not Marcus.
Who in the Pierce family was holding the wedding?
Where was Adeline? Where did Adeline go? Why didn’t he see Adeline from beginning to end?
With a buzzing sound in his mind, Julian grabbed the guest next to him and asked in a trembling voice, “Whose wedding is this?”
The guest was confused. He didn’t understand how Julian came to the wedding without knowing
who the bride and groom were.
“It’s the Pierce family’s wedding, so the bride is Ms. Pierce. I heard that the groom’s family is a prestigious one with a powerful background. It is said that they have been engaged in the founding of the country. Their status is extraordinary.”
Julian only heard the words “Ms. Pierce“. He didn’t catch a single word of what came after.
Ms. Pierce? It was Adeline who was getting married.
It caused his heart to ache and his limbs to go numb. He suddenly stood up and bumped into the
chair behind him.
The untimely noise attracted the attention of many guests.

Even the groom Gabriel in the center of the stage looked in Julian’s direction.
The bride by his side also turned her face.
Only a pair of her eyes was revealed, but Julian still recognized at a glance that it was his Adeline.

Adeline didn’t expect Julian to show up at the wedding and cause a commotion. She stepped forward to call someone to solve the problem.
Gabriel held onto her and gently shook his head at her, giving her a reassuring look.
Julian stumbled forward a few steps and was immediately surrounded by several bodyguards dressed in black.
Gabriel glanced casually outside the door.
The bodyguards immediately understood and escorted Julian towards the exit.
No matter how hard Julian resisted, he was no match for the well–trained professional bodyguards.
Out of desperation, his eyes turned bloodshot, and his veins were bulging on his neck. He shouted at the stage with all his might, “Adeline! Don’t get married! Don’t marry him! Please…”
He was soon interrupted by the bodyguard.
His short cry did not make Adeline turn back but instead led Marcus out.
Marcus held a black face with uncontrollable anger in his eyes.
Before leaving, Marcus exchanged a glance with Gabriel on the stage, and they nodded at each
other.
The wedding continued, and the celebratory music covered that incident. Everything proceeded smoothly, and no one would dwell on the episode that had just occurred.
Gabriel supported Adeline and walked step by step to the center of the stage, walking towards the colorful flowers and the future he had longed for countless times.
No one knew that he held his own moon.
