Inside Drew’s car, Julia struggled to catch her breath.
Tears streamed silently down her cheeks.

Drew handed her a tissue, his gaze filled with concern.

Drew smiled, as if he were talking about something utterly mundane.
He casually handed Julia his phone, showing her the operating system.” Julia gasped and quickly took the phone; it was just as he’d said.
Her finger accidentally swiped to the next page and froze.
There, displayed clearly, was the name of the Gosling Corporation.
Julia looked up, puzzled. “Mr. Timberlake? This…”
Drew let out a faint cough, slightly embarrassed. “That’s a misunderstanding. I’ve already told my people to cancel the acquisition of Gosling Corporation.”

Drew spoke coldly. “Cameron, if you want to save Cruise Corporation, jump from the third floor.”
Cameron finally understood. “You’re doing all this… for Julia?”
Drew didn’t waste words. He pulled out his phone and tossed it over. “Your daughter’s with my people. Are you jumping or not?”
The screen showed Reese tied to a chair, crying and calling for her dad.
Cameron’s face twisted in disbelief. “Let my daughter go!”
Drew raised one finger. “One minute. If you don’t jump, Cruise Corporation is done. Tear up the ticket. ”
Without another word, Cameron bolted out of the car, raced up to the rooftop, and jumped without hesitation.
His body hit the ground hard.
Drew walked over, unhurried.
Cameron lay there, barely able to speak. “Are you satisfied now? Let Reese go… please, and spare Cruise Corporation.”
But Drew just smiled faintly. “Cameron, I never said it would be only once.”
He called his bodyguards, and they lifted the bloodied Cameron back up to the third floor.
