“I’m not angry anymore. I just hate you. You hurt me again and again, all for another woman. You even pushed me from the third floor and broke my leg. Did you forget that? What gives you the right to ask for forgiveness now?”
Cameron’s face tensed, panic creeping into his voice. “I was wrong. She manipulated both me and Reese, but I see through her now. Julia, don’t you care about your daughter at all?”
Julia sneered coldly.
“Daughter? Has she ever treated me like her mother? She drugged me twice. Cursed me to die. Called me a fat pig. From this moment on, Julia, have no daughter. I disown her.”
Cameron looked at her, emotions lickering in his eyes. After a pause, he spoke quietly.
“Julia, I don’t believe you’ve stopped loving me. You’re just angry.”
Julia let out a sharp laugh, too furious to care. “Love? That’s the biggest joke I’ve ever heard. Cameron, listen carefully, I don love you anymore.”
“You and your daughter, I want nothing to do with either of you. Don’t come near me again. Get out!”
Her whole body trembled with rage. Just hearing him mention her daughter pierced straight through her heart.

Julia called Drew, and just three minutes later, he burst into the dressing room.
She noticed right away that his breath was uneven. He had run to her.”
Without a word, he stepped in front of her, shielding her with his body as he stared coldly at Cameron.
“Do you have business here?“%
Cameron’s expression soured, but he stood his ground.
“I’m talking to my wife. Step aside.”
Drew let out a low chuckle. “Oh, I was wondering who it was. So it’s Julia’s ex–husband.“8
He made sure to put weight on those last two words.
Cameron’s eyes narrowed. “And who are you?”
Before he could respond, Julia reached for Drew’s hand and stepped forward &
“This is my boyfriend.”
Cameron stiffened, his eyes locked on their joined hands.
“Julia, I don’t believe it. You found someone just to provoke me, didn’t you?”
Even Drew hadn’t expected Julia to grab his hand. Without hesitation, he pulled her into his arms. “And who do you think you are? We don’t need to act for your sake.”
Panic surged in Cameron’s chest. Julia had always had admirers; he used to be one of them.
Now, she shone even brighter, more captivating than ever. Of course, someone else would fall for her.
“Oh really? We were married for seven years and have a five–year-old daughter. What can you possibly offer that compares?”
As he spoke, his gaze never left Julia, hoping for a flicker of emotion:
But she never looked at him, not even once. Her eyes were fixed solely on Drew.
Drew gave a lazy smile. “We’ll see about that.“!
With that, he led Julia out of the room without a second glance.
