Naeva’s Point of View
Running. Running. Running.
I have been running for who knows how long now.
I don’t think the others are still following me, since they have probably figured out I’m long gone by now. So they saved themselves the trouble,
Mariana hasn’t said a word to me since she just went through the process of completely removing any signs of the mate bond. The pain almost killed her, so I decided to share the pain with her.

The voice brought back memories of centuries ago that I had buried in the back of my mind. All the horrible things. Everything The good times and the bad. The pain, the sorrow. Everything was back.
I shook my head trying to rid of the voice, but it only grew louder.
“Stop! We’re surrounded!” Mariana growled in my head. She was still very weak, but her strength and power was coming back. Just great. Now I am surrounded by freaking werewolves. I knew I was on some pack territory, but which one?
I have just been rejected, my wolf almost died, It’s back and now I am freaking surrounded. I am the luckiest person alive. Just freaking great. Can this day possibly get any worse?
