Obsessive Boy Next Door, Get Lost! Ch 1

Obsessive Boy Next Door, Get Lost! Ch 1
Chapter 1
Kicks shatter my skull as my crush and his perfect new girl watch me die. “Don’t look, it’s too much for you.” Xavier gently covers Sophia’s eyes as I beg.

He left me there, alone in that dark alley, where the thugs tortured me to death.

And then… I woke up. It was the day he rejected me.

As we were cutting the cake, they kept nudging me to confess.

I took a deep breath and finally said, “Xavier, my birthday wish is you.”

His hand holding the cigarette shook for a moment, but he smirked and replied, “Sorry, you’re too good for me. Not my type.”

In my past life, those words broke me, sending me spiraling toward a dark end.

A cold shiver ran down my spine, and all I could think about was how much I wanted to make him pay.

“Aria, are you okay?”

“Xavier, can’t you say something nice for once?”

He leaned back, blowing out a ring of smoke like he didn’t have a care in the world. “I’m not good at lying.”

His lazy British accent usually did something to me, but now? It just made me want to puke.

In front of everyone, I made a new wish, my voice cutting through the room.

“Xavier, I hope that for the rest of my life, I never have to see you again.”

I blew out the candles, and they tried to stop me, but it was too late.

Xavier’s smile froze, his expression tight with confusion.

“Aria, are you serious?”

“I’ll give you one more shot,” he said, his voice soft and almost coaxing. “Make a new wish, and I’ll pretend I didn’t hear that.”

I shook my head, my words steady. “No need.”

Ignoring him, I went back to cutting the cake.

But then, Xavier rushed toward me, grabbing the knife with his right hand.

“Aria, I’m talking to you.”

The blade cut through his finger, blood dripping onto the cake.

Someone shouted, “Blood! Xavier, you’re bleeding!”

I could tell. He was having another episode.

Xavier had a severe psychological disorder, and in my past life, I was the only one who could stop it.

Well, I thought I was, before that poor junior girl came along.

I’d always thought I was the one he needed, that I was special.

But then I overheard him comforting her, and my heart sank.

“She’s different from you.”

“At best, she’s a placebo. You’re my only medicine.”

“Without you, I’d die.”

I dropped the knife, my voice cold. “If you like it so much, take it.”

I turned to leave, but before I could, Xavier tossed the knife aside and grabbed my wrist.

His bloodied finger smeared across my white shirt.

“Aria, who are you trying to impress with this attitude?”

The sight of his blood made my heart race, and suddenly, everything from my past life came flooding back. The dizziness overwhelmed me, and I fainted.

When I came to, Xavier was sitting by my bed.

“Awake?”

“You pissed me off, but I still had to carry you back. Aria, how are you going to make it up to me?”

Xavier was a player. He always said these things that got my hopes up, only to crush them again.

But not anymore.

I knew the truth now, when Xavier was actually into someone, he couldn’t even make a simple flirtatious comment without his voice cracking.

I sighed, my tone calm. “I’m tired.”

“Xavier, let’s not see each other anymore.”
