I put on my innocent act, letting the tears fall: “You’re that blogger I was fighting with online!”
I acted like I’d finally recognized her, holding up the photo Lila had taken of Jasper’s hand and comparing it to the real Jasper lying right there in the hospital bed.

‘So,” I choked up through my tears, “Jasper! You’ve been hiding another woman from me! You’re her husband-then what the hell am I?!”
Truth was, I’d planned this whole thing out with Emma beforehand. All I had to do was play innocent while ripping off this band-aid. I wanted Jasper and his side chick to be completely destroyed-anyone who betrays trust deserves to be dragged through the mud.

She pointed out the obvious, then started crying too: “If you admit who she is, then what does that make
me?!”
Lila held up her phone, showing him my livestream.

“A whole seven hundred thousand people,” she cried, looking at Jasper. “If you go to her, I become the homewrecker in front of all of them.”
