Chapter 36
“Grandpa said you were holding her hostage” he says and not even convincingly.
“You knew it was a lie, Ghost, you aren’t stupid. Why would I have to hold her hostage? I wouldnt and you know it. so your cell is ready for you and all the things we found out about the people you trust. take him away, oh and Ghost we put you near your friends so share the files with them so you all know what you were helping take place.” I say. He can barely look at me and we both know why that is.
Then I left the room and went back to my family. My dad looked at me “What happened?”
“Ghost sent someone to take mom back to grandpa now Ghost and his friend are in my cells.”
“Well I don’t know what happened to that boy but we can’t keep him locked up forever.”
“Well dad, yes I can, he’s lucky that’s all I did after everything he has done to me. He has all the files to see what he did wrong. Now tell me am I supposed to have a family walk all over me and do what they want to me because 2 old men say I cant run my family. You are saying I am just getting over it. I would like to see you try. Do you see what he did? I didn’t ask this because well they tried to kill you and mom and me but are you on their side that a woman can’t run shit.”
“Well princess I do think your brother” he started to say but I stopped him.
“Oh let me stop you right now, I run shit and unless you want to be put back in a cell for being a traitor and someone I cant trust you might want to be careful. You hold no cards dad, you’re lucky I let you out ok you let her beat me and said it was a lesson so don’t. I gave you to mom because I wanted her happy but not enough to have you put me down.”
My mom walked in “what is she talking about? You let that woman hurt her and why are you questioning her about what she had to do. What if they got me. Were you in on it all up till they shot you?” he looked guilty and my mom did something i didn’t expect she would kick him in his gut and knee him in the face and he passed out. Then she checked him and pulled out 2 burner phones I kept in the drawer. Ok good thing he has no idea where he is other than underground.
“Warren and Bella, we have a problem. Check the phones while I take this jackass to Ghost so they can share a cell. I put cuffs on him and Warren put him on the cart outside and we went to the cell. “Kevin, my dad isnt as good as he put off when we got him. Let’s put him in with Ghost.” We get him to the cell and throw him on Ghost and I say “here have a good chat with dad he is your new cellmate.” Then I left and went back to my mom.
When I walk in the door I see them all sitting at the table. “Well I guess it’s just us. I have cameras set up and you just have to click the camera to see what Ghost says.”
Mom says, “Why did your dad do it?”
