“We did get close but kept things as friends because let’s be honest one hit of dating to our parents and they would have wedding plans made before we even knew anything about each other. So for the last 8 months we have been texting and talking on the phone. I would love your permission to take her on dates and to join your team in protecting people and Ice,” I can’t believe he said all the right things. It was a little too right. Why does it not sound like he means it?
Then I said “I didn’t tell him what happened with Panthers just I thought I had a traitor or 2. I knew it wasn’t you guys. I caught Panther in the cells with Dove. He said he was questioning her and he was careful about how he talked and would whisper sometimes. I was checking the cameras that night and caught him. I wanted to believe that it was just a misunderstanding. Then there were little things this whole time. He finally went too far and I knew he would want a vote before he left which gave me the access we needed to his stuff and I didn’t have to sneak. I wasn’t sure how dangerous he was so I have been careful. Nick helped me put extra cameras in when you all left on a mission we used the bunker and escape route to get him in. I hope you aren’t mad because I was only trying to make sure no one got hurt and that I was right about him.”
Twisted said “Cuz I know you told us the moment you were allowed I know mafia contracts are ruthless.”
Star said “does that mean you are moving both of your home bases?”
Nick answered “Yes we are moving in 3 years just like Ice’s grandparents are going to do with her family.”
Shooter said, “I will trust you till you prove otherwise.”
Speed said “same as Shooter we are a team and if you join and don’t burn us then you will have a great family here.”
Wiz said “I hope you don’t mind me double checking everything about you after all the attempts we can’t be too careful.”
Kevin looked at everyone and said “I knew but signed the same contract. I’m the one who had to get him in and out anytime he needed head of security and all.”
Nick says “thank you all. I will prove to you everyday that I will not take advantage of her. You can even make your own contract and I will sign it. Some of my men even want to sign a contract to help. They don’t know who is inside the compound but they know you all do good. They have been watching. I will start having them patrol more to keep snipers out of trees. Wizard if you promise not to leak anything you can go through everything electronic i own you guys are welcome to find out anything about me. We are aliases and have been for over 2 decades and we take that seriously.”
“Thank you for taking us seriously and for the offer. I’m happy you don’t mind signing the contract we signed with a few tweaks. It will be good to add to the team.” says Star.
Tann has been quiet and then speaks up “we were friends in school weren’t we.”

I was sent to guard Ice because there was a threat we didn’t know who it was and after the chatter hit us for like the 4th time we placed some people in the school to keep you all safe. They were going after Ice Star and you Tann. I wasn’t allowed to say anything but do you remember when you got the note in your locker telling you to take Star and Ice to your dad and go to the bunker?”
“Yes I do,” Tann asked.
“Wei! someone had sent someone to blow up your car but when you left early that stopped them. So anytime you found a note back then it was me or my family warning you without letting it be known who I was. My parents and grandparents have hid me well. That’s why no one knows I run the family just like Ice. Not even Ice knew who I was until after she got shot. she was 18 so the contract her mom signed with her dads family isn’t valid anymore. It’s already late if you guys want to. We can have a meeting tomorrow and you guys look at my club and will have more time. Ice is dozing as we talk.”
“You guys can keep talking, I can sleep right here on you.”
“No Ice you need to shower before bed and so do I. Plus I’m sure they want to investigate. If you guys go to my MC just tell them your name and that you are with Ice they knew you guys would come eventually.”
“I agree with Nick in Layla we all need to get rest and shower.” One by one they hugged me and said good night.
“So it’s time to call our parents. You know that I’m surprised they aren’t blowing up our phones.”
I grabbed my laptop and Facetimed them both together. “Well it’s about damn time and we are together. Let us close one so we don’t have an echo.”
Then Nick’s parents disconnected their phone and moved in with my mom. “hey guys I’m guessing you want Panther and what’s her face.”
“You are right my daughter we can’t have someone who is on his side setting him free. It will look like a kidnapping so put guards that are from us to guard. them so we don’t have to drug them more than just to make them drowsy for a bit. You know I hate drugging our own”
“I know Mrs Ricci and thank you for taking them. I don’t know what all he has told them. We are still going through everything. It has all been cloned and I will leave everything with your guards so you guys have everything to. I don’t know how many people this old man is trying to piss off but got to cover all

Then Nick said “don’t be mad I know we were supposed to wait but I told her inner team everything and said they can look into us. They looked worried about Ice and I don’t agree with not telling them and since Mrs. Rossi sent me here and it made a loophole in the contract. They needed to know that with him getting to Panther they were all in danger.”
Mrs Ricci said “I agree things have changed and we have to adjust if we don’t that man will hurt Layla and anyone else he can to get his way. We did have someone snooping around but they were easy to buy off and send with false information. so Panther told them about your mom Ice. We had it covered by the end of tomorrow they will think Panther is lying and that he and Carrie ran away together. 3 more years and it will all be over. That’s when they think you are taking over. We just did it earlier than they wanted so we are ahead of them, we just don’t know who they are.”
