Twisted walked through the door. Kissed my head and said “all his guards are replaced with MC and deacon is sending some as well.”
“Do you really think I could hurt you princess?”
“Dad, fix your house then they are going behind your back. My men have stopped 3 different attempts while your guys sat on their thumbs. They had snipers ready to shoot her when she came out. They are in your cells Ice.”
“Ok I get it, get my house in order. I will be
be leaving, apparently I need to find someone I can trust. I promise I will never hurt you.”
“Oh no uncle I brought in someone for that and he is on my side so he won’t be paid off by Papa.” I dialed Danger the uncle papa sent away for not wanting to follow his rules and hurt people he should be in charge not Rick. Well technically it should be Frank but one step at a time. “Come into the living room”
“Danger will be helping you fix things he wasn’t as weak as you when it came to papa. That’s why papa told you he was dead but he was locked away till we rescued him.”
He looked shocked then he saw Danger and he got up and hugged him “1…I..I thought you were dead. I will hand everything to you when you are ready. I never wanted this but it was only me and Mike left and I was older so they made me.”
Danger said “ok he still thinks im locked up where he put me. So we will let him keep thinking so. But before I step foot over there Kevin and his team will sweep the place for cameras and bugs. Our father is an awful man.”
I look at Panther and he says “ok fellas she’s done with this drama. So take it to the conference room Kevin will go with you. Layla has had enough stress for her heart so fix it and leave her out of it. She shouldn’t have to clean mess that was created that long ago.”
“Oh and uncle I do know exactly what that man wants and no I don’t know if I can trust
everything and has been getting in Papa’s way the whole time. So don’t try anything you to tell you Danger will be the judge of that because he knows
busy. Crazy what you can do when others‘ plans fail and you are stuck in a chair.”

Star says “its activated” then Panther wheels me to the TV i plug in the computer and then I open it to the video call and call my mother. She woke up from a coma 2 years ago and just got to where she can defend herself. 16 years is
a long time not to move so I don’t blame her for not finding me till she can take
care of us both. then she picks up.
“Princess what’s wrong we were not scheduled to talk till friday”
mom says.
“Papa is pushing harder. He sent Dove to my team and found a drug in her bag to stop my heart. He is making mistakes but I know he’s not alone, someone is helping them and they are good at hiding. We have
parents and they are safe now. What I don’t understand is why they broke the alliance with grandpa and thought that they wouldn’t fight back. I wish we could move you here before the 3 years but I get it. We both have to have our strength back before they know you are alive.”
“I know Layla, I want to be there too. I’m glad you have this team with you, you picked a good group. I will send a team to grab any people that need questioning so that no one from your uncles side can take them they will be there around midnight we bought the property behind yours its 1000 akers and we put it in yours and Stars name like your property and I have a team coming to extend your fence and fix any weak spots your dads family left on purpose and Wizard is already upgrading the security from his laptop he’s on one of the jets in your name. We also got all the stuff set up for your company. I will send some recruits for you boys to decide if they are reliable enough to keep so far they are good but I wanna see what they are like with you. I have you back now that I’m awake. I don’t know how your dad could have let this happen, at least his last act was protecting you.”
“That’s a lot mom but ok we will do all of that. Panther and Kevin are making sure I keep calm as I can and safe. Panther sleeps on the pull out couch. Kevin on a cot. We know there are traitors here. We will build you a house by the river. After the fence is set up we will be able to visit without people knowing. Where’s grandpa? I want his thoughts on all of this. I know I’m technically in charge of everything over there but everyone still thinks it’s him because of my heart.”
I’m here Ice with your grandma” they walk on screen with big smiles and put seats behind my mom. “what do you think about after things are secure? Mom lives in the woods here? Can we send some of the guys we can spare here so I don’t have to look for as many so fast.”
“I like that idea Ice they will be there tomorrow with bullet proof vehicles and equipment and someone to check everything a reinforced everything plus

make you a proper bunker under your house and an underground pathway you can take a vehicle through it will let out by the river by your mothers place so no one knows you are going back and forth.”
“Thank you grandpa so has all the paperwork gone though for my last name change?” “Yes you are now Layla Rose Rossi”
“Awesome, can we trust Rick or is he just stupid”
“They are using his blind spots for family. He will be an asset if he listens to Danger.”
Twisted then said “i will have him committed if i have to because he is getting himself into something that is going to get him killed im making him go to Forest. I think he is being drugged.”
“Ok we got a plan i guess we will talk on our regular time friday night i have to go get an x–ray and i know Panther is getting anxious he likes keeping to schedule i’m bad at it so he will get fidgety here real soon.”
“Well it the way i was trained”
“I know and it keeps me on schedule more than 1 have ever been. love you all”
“Love you too talk to you friday”
