“Yes Star can join me, can’t make the only other girl sleep down there with you boys now can I and thank you all. This right here is my family. Twisted it’s a king you could fit at the end if you wanted.”
“I’m good Ice don’t wanna wake you if I have to jump up. let’s go back to the movies you guys were watching.”
it has been a couple of days and I’m sitting in my chair when Dove my grandparents dr buzzed the gate. I looked at everyone and asked “why is she here? I have hired my own drs and she knows it.” They came from my uncle after he did his background Panther did one of his own.
Panther radios the front and asks “is there anyone with her or down the road a bit?”
“Yes, Ice’s grandparents‘ limo. She says she has an appointment with Ice.” The gate radios back.
Panther looks at me to see what I want to do “open the outer gate then make her drive in but she has to walk the rest of the way. Have a team go through her car and her bag. I’m not taking chances. Panther, Kevin and his dad want you to help with security because of your training they want a little more structure to guards.”
“Got it, Layla, me and my team will train them better than ever.”
10 minutes later a pissed off Dove who had in here what do you want?”

“Your grandparents said you kicked them out for no reason and that you lied to them about a lot of things. Why…”
I cut her off before I did something that won’t help with this situation. “Oh I get it you sleep with my Grandfather and he wants my money and shares and now he can’t get in to convince me I’m a weak little girl who can’t handle her own and I’m correct? Hell I know i’m right you guys aren’t as secret as you thought you were.Did he tell you he would leave my Nana? Here we will call and you will see that he has been playing you.”
I dialed my Nanas number, she answered and said, “Princess, I’m so sorry I believed your grandfather. I’m leaving him. I’m at Ricks. When can I come and see
you?”
“I know Nana, it’s hard not to want to trust someone you love. Anytime you would like I will have someone come get you.”
Then I hear my Uncle Rick stopped my Nana from talking again, “hey princess”
“Uncle, do you employ Dove?” She looks scared now that he is on the phone with me.
“Yes she called and said she was sick. Why do you ask?” He replied.
“She is right here. I apparently have a check up that none of us knew about and Papa is parked down the way, he doesn’t know you moved next door yet and is parked right outside. I don’t want him brought in. He knows he can’t get in, that’s why he sent the traitor.”
“Ok, we will be there in 5 minutes through the side gate.”
My uncle and Nana show up and my uncle says “This doesn’t look sick to me Dove since when did my father sign your paychecks last I checked that stopped and I am in charge. I guess you didn’t like your job enough.”
“Oh he doesn’t she sleeps with him and thinks she will get whatever far fetched promise which I’m guessing would be Mafia Queen and that you would get it if you helped him kill me. He thinks my death means he gets my money but nope it goes to people of my choosing. Uncle I want a new Dr as lead Panther has a friend who just got out and his family was killed while he was
serving. He needs a home and I’m gonna give him one. Is that ok?”
“Panther and I will talk about it. I don’t want you to feel unsafe. He can get with my head of security if he thinks of any changes that will help keep your grandfather out of our stuff. Alright Dove traitors go to the cells to be questioned so guys take her away.”
Then Nana punches her and she says “So not only do you sleep with married men and try to kill your patience. Apparently you are abusive to your parents and don’t buy them anything with the money we have given you, We will take care of them. They are older than I am and need to be cared for and not made to feel like nothing.”
“Nana what are you talking about?” Then my team brings in this older couple with bruises. I move my chair past everyone and when I reach them I say “follow me we are going to the doctor I have here he doesn’t work with your daughter, anything he can’t help you with we will get the right doctor for you. Ok guys can you get a golf cart? I can’t believe you guys made them walk. You can see how hurt they are. We take care of those who need it. Panther they made them walk please call Mike i think some of the guards are paid off by Papa and Mike set the protocol so why would they be walking.”
“Layla I will look into it and my buddy Wizard is on his way to check everything as well. There is too much slipping through our fingers.” All my people are falling into place and they don’t even know they are the ones bringing them in. I will fish the rest of you liars out eventually. I just want a life free of all of

After their exam I looked at their chart. I knew I shouldn’t have read it but I’m pissed but keeping my heart calm has been something I practice when I can. Papa and his guards s raped her so i said “oh my please vet a trama councelor for them and Gyn for her. I want a house built for 2 on my property so they have their own space please. Use the trees and make it a log cabin. Panther it should just be me and you to go in for now they don’t need everyone in their space they look so scared. They can meet everyone when they are ready to leave the room.” he nodded.
We walk in and she looks so scared of us “Hello, my name is Layla or everyone calls me Ice. Something about my attitude. I’m not like your daughter and he isn’t like my grandfather. I know he did so much bad to you and I know it’s hard to trust after you have been used and abused. We will get you all the help you need mentally and medically. I have personally been through the same. I will have someone bring you my file since I have seen yours. I think it’s fair, don’t you?”
