Chapter 11
They left and 20 minutes later Deacon texted and said she was there and yelling. I text back and I will call her dad. He can lock her up on house arrest. I don’t know if he will i havent had time to look into him with all the kidnappings and shit.
I dialed his number “Hello.”
“Hi this is a warning because you can’t just disown your mistakes no matter how much of an annoying worthless bitch she is. go to Spirit MC before My grandfather and Uncle take down your whole world. I’m tired of your daughter who you couldn’t seem to raise right, making problems for me and mine. Last time or she goes somewhere you will never find her.” Then I called the lawyer and had her money cut off and then called Papa “hello princess we just got here I’m putting you on speaker.”
“Hello Missy, your father will be there soon. Guys don’t let the bitch leave her dad is going to take her home and put her on lock down till she can act like normal person. oh and no more of my dads money when you tried to kill me and there were witnesses this time, you broke a clause in the will it pays to read. Plus I don’t like you so mess with me again and they will never find you again. Goodbye crazy bitch. See you soon papa.”
Then we hung up. I was smiling. “I’m sorry Panther i know you didn’t want to run that place. You brother was turning it into a 1%er club and we can have all your dads good work be used to help the 1%ers.”
“It’s ok it won’t happen till you are healed. I will make sure of it.”
Then Ghost starts taking me inside. They put in a ramp so I don’t have to be carried. we get to the door, it’s beautiful. It has dark wood with stained glass windows on the door. In the living room there were 2 couches and a tv with a coffee table. Tan walls with wood trim on it. You could see the kitchen and dining area, then there was a bedroom off to the left with a hallway down the side. I see it was made for me deep purple walls with black trim but it had lots of windows. “It was going to be your art room and will be when you can move to a room of your choosing.”
“Thank you Nana.” Then they get me cleaned up and in bed Star brings me pain meds while climbing on the bed next to me and Ghost sits in the rocking chair by the window. Speed and Shooter are by the door and Twisted and Tann are by the other window and Panther is in the living room.
“Guys can you hand me the remote please.” They hand it to me and Nana brings in snacks and hot tea for me. I put on Gilmore girls. then fall asleep.
It has been a month since I woke up. I stayed in bed. I have been tired. They said I will be that way so I have been drawing tattoos and doing my art assignment. Tann takes them to the school for me to get graded and the teachers come and check on me once a week.
I need a different doctor. This one is not good. I need Forest but I need them to think it was their idea. Forest has been on my team since my training. Something isn’t right but I can’t get my head unfuzzy to figure it out. I text Forest our code word for I need help. The code is “being drugged by Joker’s gas.” He is a big Batman fan.
I am trying to stay upbeat but it’s hard to heal from heart surgery and a broken leg and arm in a sling. Ghost comes in and says “let’s go for a walk. Your good chair is ready.” He brings it in and it has wheels but the wheels for dirt. It was black with dragonflies. It had a table off the side with a pouch with a drawing pad and pencils. There was a spot for my phone so I didn’t have to hold it until my arm healed. It had a horn too. It has speakers to play music.
“Tell Tech and whoever helped him thank you.” Tech is innocent so he only knows what he put into the chair not if they did anything to the material.
He puts me in the chair and says to try and the first thing I do is run his foot over “ouch Layla’why you gotta run me over. You need to be more careful.” He was so pissed he looked like he was going to hit me as he raised his arm back but stopped himself. Where did this brother come from? He has never looked at me that way.
“I’m so sorry brother, I didn’t mean to. The button was more sensitive than I thought,” I was panicking and my heart monitor I’m made to wear is going crazy. I started to get dizzy. I lay my head back and close my eyes. I didn’t realize I passed out.
I woke up back in my bed and my brother looked scared out of his mind. Well kinda but what is that other look in his eyes? I see hate behind it but it disappeared when I woke up. “What happened?”
“It’s all my fault Layla. I’m sorry I shouldn’t have made your heart can’t take it. I just set you back a week. it’s all my fault.” Why does he sound forced to say
that?
Nana smacks him. She is pissed you can see it she can’t believe he is trying to work my heart up again. Why is he doing that? Nana then says “well calm down boy before it happens again how can a trained military man act like such a fool.”
“Well it’s different when it is your sister and not a stranger that you upset.”
“Guys,” I say, trying to interrupt them.
Well why did you have to get mad like a fool? It was just a foot and she didn’t even break it. Hell you are still doing it by acting all scared and frantic. What are you up to boy?”
I yell louder “Guys shut the fuck up! How is all this yelling supposed to help? You all need to leave. I have had about enough for today. Shooter, Speed, Star

and Tann stay the rest. I don’t care where you go, just go away.” My heart monitor is going off. I’m holding my chest and Tann and Star come and hold me to calm me down. Zero comes and lays on my lap and Lady guards me, getting mad at them all for upsetting me.
