I stared hard at his face. Though he smiled, his murderous aura was undeniable.
“What about my sister? What did you do to her?”
Declan Graham was surprised.
“You’re still worried about your sister? She played a part in bringing you here. She personally delivered you to me. I’ve had her taken away to vent your anger.”
Hearing this, I knew Nora Anderson was in a bad situation.
A cold smile crept onto my lips.
“Worried about her? We’re not real sisters. All these years, they never treated me well, never saw me as their daughter–just something to
exploit.
Now, she poisoned me to save herself. I stopped considering her my sister long ago.
It’s good you vented on her, but I’d like to see it myself, can I?”
I probed, instinctively feeling there would be something I needed.
Declan Graham didn’t expect my response.
“Haha, I didn’t know you hated her so much. So you’re not real sisters. No wonder you’re different from her.
You’re much more charming and attractive to me.
But that place isn’t suitable for you now.”

But that place isn’t suitable for you now.”
I knew he wouldn’t relent, so I started stepping closer, my fingers brushing his chest.
“Didn’t you say you wanted me as your woman? I agree, but I just want to see what happens to their precious daughter.”
“Are you sure you want to go? Let me warn you, it’s quite gruesome. Aren’t you afraid?”
I spoke firmly.
“Not afraid.”
Declan Graham laughed maniacally.
“Good, you’re indeed more interesting.”
You are far more captivating than her.
“But going there isn’t right for you at the moment.”
Realizing he wouldn’t change his mind, I began to inch closer, my fingers grazing his chest.
“Didn’t you say you wanted me to be your woman? I agree, but I just want to see what happens to their precious daughter.”
“Are you sure you want to go? Let me remind you, it’s not just bloody–aren’t you scared?”
I spoke with determination.
“I’m not scared.”
Declan Graham let out a wild laugh.
“Good, you’re certainly more intriguing.”
I followed Declan to the end of the corridor, where he pressed a section of the wall, revealing a hidden passage that opened slowly.
Inside, it seemed endless, which explained why so many sent here never found any clues.
My heart was pounding as I followed him down.
With each step, my anxiety heightened. The dimly lit basement was filled with a stench of decay and blood.
As we moved forward, the lights brightened slightly.
I noticed the basement walls were lined with photographs of various girls.
Then, I saw… Lila Thompson’s photo.
Suddenly, my breath became shallow.
I clenched my fists, wanting to punch Declan right then.
But I restrained myself, masking my anger with confusion as I looked at Declan.
“Why are there so many photos here?”
Declan’s eyes darkened at my question.
“These are just some greedy women who couldn’t handle the cost of money. They didn’t last long and died. Uninteresting.”
He spoke as if they were mere playthings.

Then he looked at me.
“But don’t worry, you’re different from them. I’ll let you live a little longer.”
His calm tone sent a chill down my spine.
Soon, we found Nora Anderson.
