Chapter 9
Jackson pulled out the dagger I had sent to him–the very blade that had caused me to lose my pup. He pressed a mechanism
on the hilt, triggering a device hidden inside, and sprayed what was inside vigorously at Laila.
It was an enhanced version of wolfsbane I had made for his survival. Once it touched a werewolf’s skin, it would seep in with
no cure.

Laila clutched her face and screamed in agony.
Mary went mad with rage and shrieked uncontrollably, “You bastard, what are you doing to my daughter? She’s always been
innocent! You’re the one who hurt Seraphina all along! What does that have to do with us?”
Jackson trembled all over when he heard this, and then he gave a bitter laugh and nodded. “That’s right. I was the one who mistreated Seraphina. I hurt her. I killed our pup. But even so…

A fierce gleam suddenly flashed in his eyes before he shouted, “We’ll still drag you all down to hell with us!
As he finished speaking, he bared his claws and lunged at the three of them. Chaos erupted at the scene, and no
who cut the live stream feed.
Though the stream ended, the comment section kept going.
“Oh my God! Is this real? Is the new Luna of the Ulverngard pack such a vile woman?”
“The former Luna was way too pitiful–she lost her mother and her wolf because of them, and she couldn’t even keep the pup in her belly.”
“If you ask me, the Ulverngard pack’s Alpha is fully responsible for these tragedies. If he hadn’t been deceived by that wicked woman, Ms. Seraphina wouldn’t have suffered so terribly.”
“How did such a dumb werewolf become Alpha? Even a three–year–old pup knows what wolfsbane looks like. Will the Ulverngard pack be doomed under his leadership?”
