My Husband’s Secret Wife And Their Stolen 24

Chapter 24

After learning that her son would be permanently disabled, Blanche began frantically searching for a proper prosthetic.

Unlike a pair of shoes, prosthetics required meticulous care, custom-fitting, and were often worn for years. The market, however, was flooded with cheap, poorly made models.

The best option, of course, was the cutting-edge smart bionic limb developed by AprilTech. The problem? AprilTech- Amelia’s company-had long ago blacklisted Blanche and her son. She had no way to purchase one, even if she had the

money.

The cheaper prosthetics were clunky and painful, with a long adaptation period. Finn Robinson, pampered and spoiled since birth, threw tantrums every time they tried one. He’d shriek at the top of his lungs and refuse to cooperate.

Blanche cursed Amelia’s name for days. Finally, she chose the most desperate path-sneaking into Robinson Group’s

warehouse to steal an old batch of prosthetics.

But she forgot one crucial thing: that batch was the substandard product she herself had overseen years ago-the same

faulty line that had never been destroyed.

The moment Finn strapped one on, the prosthetic malfunctioned, leaking current and electrocuting him. His screams tore

through the hospital corridors. Panicked, Blanche yanked it off, but the damage was done. The stump of his leg was

burned and festering, a putrid stench filling the entire ward.

In agony and despair, Finn threw himself from a window. He didn’t die-but this time, he fell into a coma and became brain

dead.

Retribution had finally come; the devastating blow shattered Blanche’s mind, sending her spiraling into madness.

First, she started a live broadcast-sobbing, blaming Amelia for her son’s death and attempting to smear AprilTech’s

reputation. At first, her tearful act fooled a few viewers who sent sympathy gifts. But the internet never forgets.

Within hours, sharp-eyed users dug up her scandalous past.

“You’re that scheming maid who slept her way up? Ugh, you have some nerve to attack Amelia!”

“Exactly! My cousin’s life changed thanks to AprilTech’s prosthetic. Your son’s suffering is just karma for your own evil

deeds.”

“Report her! Don’t send her a single cent!”

The wave of reports got her account permanently suspended. Enraged, Blanche stormed to the gates of Robinson Group, screaming like a madwoman.

“Edmond Robinson! You and that woman drove me into this hell! Get down here and pay for what you did! You deliberately set me and my son up, didn’t you?! This is all your fault-you owe me!”

Edmond soon came down, his face a mask of cold fury. Without a word, he slapped her hard across the face.

“Amelia is not my wife,” he spat. “And that’s thanks to you.”

Blanche’s eyes burned with hatred. “No! You divorced me just to marry her, didn’t you? You can’t fool me-”

Her voice faltered when a massive LED screen above the plaza switched to the city’s promotional reel-featuring Amelia Austin, radiant in a tailored suit, standing proudly beside her husband, Ethan Blackwood.

Blanche’s lips trembled. “Why… why does she get to live like that?”

“She was nothing but a servant’s daughter. I should have been the CEO’s wife. Her life should’ve been mine!” She clutched her belly, her voice turning hysterical.

“I’m carrying another child. Once I give birth, I’ll still be Mrs. Robinson!”

She collapsed to the ground, laughing and sobbing like a lunatic.

Her fate? She was dragged off to Washington’s most notorious psychiatric ward. As for the child in her belly-under such

extreme conditions, its future was as grim as her own.

When Amelia heard the news, she was at a charity event, donating to a school for children with disabilities. The charity

campaign boosted AprilTech’s reputation yet again, bringing in a new wave of support.

Her company had just begun development on a new generation of products, and she was busier than ever.

She thought Edmond would finally stop bothering her. She underestimated his persistence. Every single day, Edmond

sent her flowers, gifts, or long, pleading messages.

Once, during a storm, he stood at her doorstep for hours, drenched to the bone, shouting:

“Amy! If you don’t come out and see me, I’ll stay here all night!”

In her study, Amelia kept working as the servant knocked for the third time.

“Ma’am, that man’s still out there in the rain… should I let him in?”
