As Edana left the office and turned off the jammer, she got a call from Flora. Flora rambled nonstop, then hung up before Edana could speak.
Audrey and Tiffany had just returned to the secretarial department when Edana summoned them to the manager’s office.
“Audrey! Are you crazy? We’re partners with Luther. How can you poke into their affairs? Your personal grudge with Clayton shouldn’t affect company interests!”

“Second, Luther and I have reached a resolution on the project. Edana, which side are you on, questioning me like this?”
Edana was speechless but unwilling to be beaten by Audrey.
