Kevin stubbornly refused to sign the divorce papers, but I had all the evidence of his infidelity.
Once submitted to court, his refusal to sign wouldn’t matter.
During this time, I cut off all sources of income for him and Chloe.
With no mansion to live in, the two of them had to move back to Kevin’s dilapidated old house in the countryside overnight.
Even the roof leaked when it rained.
After we got married, I had once suggested renovating the roof, but Kevin rejected the idea without a second thought:
“Why bother? We’ll never return to that godforsaken place anyway?”
And now guess what?
They were back.
Chloe only lasted one afternoon before having only lasted one afternoon before having a breakdown, crying and screaming at Kevin to call me for money.
Otherwise she’d abort the baby.
So while I was vacationing abroad, I received his call:
“Honey, come back… I’m willing to sign the papers…”
I withdrew my hand from caressing the male model’s abs:
“Good boy. I’m glad you’ve come to your senses.”
My friend frowned: “You’re really going back? That scumbag might do something desperate.”
1 shrugged: “Just wait and see the show.”
After an overnight flight, I arrived at the cafe.
Kevin had lost a lot of weight and no longer looked as dashing as before.
Seeing me enter, a flash of pain crossed his
eyes.
But he still pushed the divorce agreement towards me as agreed:
“I’ve signed it, but I have some conditions. Return the house and car, and send monthly child support payments.”
“Also, if Chloe ever needs your help in the future, you can’t refuse.”
I took off my sunglasses and looked at him seriously:
“Your brain’s not damaged, is it? Why are you talking like an idiot?”
“Maybe you should get checked at the hospital. I suspect it’s not ED, but syphilis. Has it affected your nervous system?”
Kevin trembled at the mere mention of erectile dysfunction now.
He said nothing, just staring at me intently.
How scary.
I had no patience to waste words with an impotent man. Just as I stood up to leave,
Suddenly the world started spinning!
“Fuck! You drugged me!”
Only half the liquid remained in the coffee cup. Even an idiot could guess where the problem lay.
Before I passed out, the last thing I saw was Kevin’s twisted face:
“You can only blame yourself for pushing me to this point!”
“This is all your fault!!!”
