Chapter 321
Lena pulled Owen to pay the bill, then turned to the anxious looking Griffin and said, “Does Sarah énly be ‘Bro‘ with you, or does she be bro with man people?
Griffin and Sarah turned livid. Lena was mocking this pick–me girl.
Watching them walk away, Griffin said unhappily to Sarah, “Thanks a lot for your terrible idea*
I was only trying to help,” Sarah retorted. “If she’s already got you wrapped around her finger in the early stages, marriage will be a nightmare for you.”
Frowning, Griffin took out his phone to call Lena. Glancing at the stain on Sarah’s sleeve, he said, “Can’t you wipe your mouth when you steal ice cream?”
“Fine! I’ll never meddle in your business again. I don’t want the motorcycle anymore–go grovel to your princess!” Sarah snapped, furning to storm off After a few steps, when Griffin didn’t call her back, she pressed her lips together and left for real.
Lena pulled Owen into the elevator, holding up her hand next to his. “Our manicures match pretty well.”
“What did you mean by that earlier?” His low, restrained voice rang in Lena’s ear.
She jumped, then looked up with an ingratiating smile. “You risked everything for your bestie. Let me treat you to ice cream.
“We’ll share one,” he said.
Lena nodded, blushing.
Days later, Lena still blushed when telling Audrey the story.
Audrey had been feeling drowsy lately. After meals, she’d sit in a rocking chair in the garden to sunbathe, often nodding off. But today she stayed awake- gossip was too good.
“So you shared an ice cream with one spoon?” Audrey teased with a mischievous smile.
“No! What are you thinking?” Lena’s ears turned redder. “We used two spoons for one serving.”
“Oh.” Audrey squinted.
“I’m serious,” Lena protested.
“Oh,” Audrey repeated, wearing a knowing smirk.
“Audrey!” Lena said.
“Yes?” Audrey laughed.
Lena’s neck turned red with embarrassment. Before she could defend herself, her phone rang. After reading the message, she pressed her lips into a smile, grabbed her bag, and stood up.
“Your ‘bestie‘ asking you out?” Audrey grinned,
Lena said seriously, “I’m going into battle. Since Griffin still wants to cling to me, I have plenty of ways to make him give up.” She turned to leave, sal Audrey over her shoulder. “Wait for my victory.”
After Lena left, Audrey took a nap. When she woke, the maid told her Lucia had arrived but hadn’t dared wake her.
After the wedding, Lucia had stayed glued to Logan’s side, fearing he might rekindle his old flame with Amelia, so she’d had no time to bother Audrey.
After washing up, Audrey came downstairs. Her belly had grown rapidly due to the triplets.

Chapter 321
Lucia was sitting in the living room, sipping coffee and reading & book. When she looked up and saw Audrey, she nearly spat but her came pregnant?”
With Audrey’s obvious baby bump, Lucia was sure she’d been pregnant at the wedding. This explained why the Winifred family had fuchind the Cabarcore
Audrey must have used the baby to blackmail them.
Lucia rose with a disapproving look and helped Audrey sit on the sofa. “Why didn’t you discuss this with me? You were already pregnant at the weddings It was so chaotic what if you’d gotten hurt?”
Addrey sat down and said coolly, “Whatever.”
“You remember what I told you?” Lucia dismissed the nearby servants, but Sylvie and Hugo refused to leave.
She had to lower her voice. “You ignored everything I said in the lounge. Now that you’re pregnant, you must Yann.”
watch out for bitches trying to seduce
“Yann is in his prime, and you can’t satisfy him for months. Be careful,” Lucia added.
Audrey grabbed a pillow to prop behind her back. Sylvie brought her a glass of honey water, which she sipped slowly. “Should I assign someone to follow him 24/7, even to the bathroom?” she asked sarcastically.
Lucia was too angry to speak.
Given Yann’s status, if he wanted to cheat, any spies Audrey planted would be bribed to hide it.
Finally, Lucia poked Audrey’s forehead. “Mark my words, you’ll regret not listening to me.”
Audrey smiled but said nothing.
Looking at Audrey’s belly, Lucia felt a pang of sadness. If she’d borne Logan a child, her later life wouldn’t have been so unstable.
If Logan remarried Amelia, Lucia, now aging, could never find another man as wealthy as him, and Audrey might not share her fortune. But at her age, pregnancy was impossible–she could only try to bond with Audrey.
“Now that you’re pregnant, focus on resting. If you have a son, your position in the Winifred family will be unshakable, and I can enjoy the benefits too,” Lucia said.
Lucia quickly listed everything a newborn would need. “Cloth diapers are better–they won’t irritate the baby’s bottom. Disposable diapers are uncomfortable for long periods.
“Whether you have milk or not, formula is better. It keeps your figure intact. With maids around, you can rest without disruption.
“Don’t eat too much while pregnant, or you’ll have a difficult labor. C–sections leave scars, and Yann will mind.”
Audrey listened to her chatter without argument. If Lucia had errands to run, she’d cause fewer messes.
After finishing the list, Lucia looked at Audrey awkwardly. “The Winifred family’s expenses are under your charge, so-
“Just tell me how much you need,” Audrey said.
Lucia beamed. “Great. I’ll send Eden to settle the bill once I calculate it. Also-” She hesitated, then said, “I heard you bought Lena a bag and lots of clothes. She’s Yann’s cousin, and she’s not short of money.”
She’d come only after seeing Lena’s Instagram posts, hinting that Audrey should spend more on her.
Audrey yawned. “As long as you don’t go overboard, I’ll cover it.”
Lucia smiled even wider. “You’re such a good daughter!”
