Chapter 317
Gina angrily tunged at Sharon, and the two began to scuffle. The other salesclerks had intended to break up the fight, but upon hearing Sharon in dill their profession, they certainly had no intention of defending her.
“Please calm down,” one clerk said, grabbing Sharon’s arm, only for Gina to yank Sharon’s hair.
“Stop, stop it.” The clerk holding back Gina took the opportunity to punch Sharon.
The mall’s security team arrived to finally stop the chaos.
Sharon’s face was swollen, and her entire body ached, Gasping for breath, she said, “I’m going to file a complaint. I’ll sue you for beating me. All of your
The clerks said, “Madam, you can’t make false accusations. We were clearly trying to stop the fight.”
“I want to check the surveillance! The surveillance will prove it!” Sharon shrieked.
“Sorry, our store’s surveillance is broken today,” a clerk replied.
When Lena and Audrey left the mall, they saw Sharon limping out of the main entrance and couldn’t help but giggle unladylike.
“What’s so funny? Tell me so I can laugh too,” Owen’s voice suddenly sounded behind them. Lena’s laughter stopped abruptly, and she turned around sharply, asking, “What are you doing here?”
Owen pointed to the mall and said, “I just got a call from the manager saying there was a dispute between a store and a customer here.”
Lena looked at Audrey, who shook her head. She really didn’t know this mall belonged to the Davis family. However, it was certain that Amelia’s brand had quickly occupied the high–end market with the Davis family’s support.
Owen said, “What, can’t you tell me?”
Lena said, “Don’t be so nosy.”
Owen had a dimple when he smiled. He looked at Audrey and said, “When will you come to my house for dinner? My mom misses you a lot.”
“I’ll go as soon as I’m free,” Audrey replied with a smile.
Amelia was too busy keeping an eye on Cecilia, who was looking for her grandson, to have time to invite Audrey to dinner. That was just Owen’s polite
excuse.
“Um, Lena, I’m a bit tired. Why don’t you ask Owen to accompany you shopping?” Audrey said.
Lena pouted and tilted her head to look at him. “Aren’t you going to deal with the dispute?”
Owen said, “It’ll be quick.”
“Alright then.” Lena looked at the shopping bags Hugo was carrying and said, “Audrey, help me take these things back. I’ll come to see you tomorrow.”
Lena followed Owen back into the mall, while Audrey got into the car with Hugo and the others. “Going home?” Hugo asked.
“I need to make a call.” Audrey took out her phone and was about to dial Yann when she saw their last chat record and decided to ignore him. “Let’s go
home.”
She couldn’t give Yann a good attitude too easily, or he’d go too far in bed next time.
Just as her phone locked, it lit up again, Yann was calling her.

“Hello?” Audrey said in a deliberately cold tone, “If you have nothing to say, I’ll hang up”
“Hardy is treating us tonight,” Yann said gently, “He knows you’re pregnant with triplets and wants to congratulate you and hope to have the ama los as you.”
Audrey smiled and said, “He’s still single. Isn’t it too early to want children now?”
“Quentin is also single, but he has a child,” Yann said.
Audrey thought the way Yann got along with his friends was really weird.
Two hours later, Audrey arrived at a farm in the suburbs. Yann was already waiting at the gate. He carefully protected Audrey’s waist and abdomen, leading her inside while introducing the place as they walked.
This farm was run by Hardy. The backyard had a large vegetable garden, some planted by Hardy and some by guests. After autumn, a large number of fruits and vegetables were ripe, and people could come here to experience picking.
“Is that a fishpond over there?” Audrey pointed to the distance.
Yann nodded. “If we stay here tonight, I can go night fishing and cook fish soup for you tomorrow morning.”
Audrey looked at him with skepticism. “You can fish?”
Yann leaned down and whispered in her ear, “If you paid a little more attention to me, you’d find more of my advantages.”
Audrey snorted coldly and said, “Your disadvantage might be having too many advantages.”
“I’m glad to know you think so highly of me,” Yann said.
They stopped, and Hugo and Sylvie, who were following behind, also stopped. Sylvie turned to look to the side, while Hugo only shifted his gaze slightly, using his peripheral vision to pay attention.
Audrey saw a different kind of emotion in Yann’s eyes and then pinched his waist.
Yann held her hand and begged for mercy, “The bruise on my leg hasn’t healed yet.”
Thinking of the scenes from last night that made her whole body tingle, she walked forward. “If you’re not obedient, I’ll pinch you again.”
Yann quickly caught up with her. “I will definitely follow your instructions.”
Audrey hurriedly covered his mouth. She thought, ‘Doesn’t an aloof and proud businessman like him feel embarrassed saying such things in front of others?‘
She quickly looked at Sylvie and Hugo. One looked to the left, and the other looked to the right, all pretending they hadn’t heard anything.
Hardy had prepared Ashbourne–style dishes. All the vegetables used in the dishes were picked by himself.
“Is it just the three of us?” Audrey walked into the private room.
“Quentin is on his way,” Yann said.
Hardy looked at Audrey’s belly and said, “Congratulations.”
“Thank you,” Audrey said with a smile. She had wanted to ask if Luna was here. Although she didn’t have a good impression of Luna, she didn’t mind her being around. If Hardy had brought her to play, Audrey wouldn’t have minded.
Now that she was pregnant, Yann was particularly concerned about her safety. If a child accidentally bumped into her while playing, Yann would probably be unhappy,

Audrey looked around and didn’t see any children’s items in the room, so she figured tuna probably wasn’t there.
Shortly after they sat down at the dining table, Quentin arrived, bringing someone with him.
“Audrey,” Keith said with a smile as he walked in, carrying a box of nutritional products. “Congratulations. This is for you to build up your body
“Thank you so much,” she said.
Halfway through the meal, Keith suddenly stood up with a wine glass and said, “Audrey, I did something wrong before, and I want to apologize to you”
Audrey’s hand was on Yann’s leg under the table, and she gently squeezed it when she heard this.
Yann looked at Keith with displeasure.
Keith drank a glass of wine in one gulp, poured another, and continued, “Audrey, I’m grateful that you were willing to forgive me and accept the Pantheon Films project. I—”
He paused and then smiled, “I’m extremely thankful. In the future, if you need anything from me, just tell me.”
Audrey picked up the water glass in front of her and was about to speak when she heard Yann say, “Get to the point.”
The cheerful atmosphere instantly froze. Quentin looked at Keith disapprovingly, and Hardy pulled his clothes.
Keith raised his wine glass and stared straight at Audrey, saying, “Audrey, I’m really grateful to you. May I be bold enough to ask you for one more thing?”
