“They’re nothing compared to Lunessé masks. If it wasn’t for the tens of thousands in advertising money, I never would have trashed Lunescé. I’m an actress. My face is how I make a living.”
The doctor applied ointment to her face while asking, “You said Lunessé masks work well, so why is your face having an allergic reaction?”
Ruby didn’t want to discuss this, but hiding medical information from her doctor would be irresponsible. Her face looked much better now because she was on strong medication, but once she stopped, it would be worse than before.

Meanwhile, Eclat’s livestream got hit so hard by angry users that they had to shut down early.
Jocelyn smashed her cup against the monitor. Coffee splashed all over the circuit board and the screen went completely black. “Damn it. It’s so annoying!‘ she thought.

“You’ve got some nerve calling me. If you hadn’t fed that doctor a bunch of lies, how could she have gotten that evidence? You idiot, do you have any idea how much money you’ve cost me?” Jocelyn snapped.

Jocelyn hung up and took a deep breath before answering the livestream platform’s call. They chewed her out like she was nobody, and all she could do was nod and grovel. After finally appeasing those corporate overlords, Abby told her that Audrey was suing her.
