Chapter 1
My five–year–old daughter Ada Hunter has a serious problem with lying.
When I took her shopping for school supplies, she actually screamed on the street that I was a human trafficker, nearly getting me dragged to the police station for questioning.
When we got home, before I could even explain what happened, she threw herself crying into my husband Charles Hunter’s arms and said, “Daddy, Mommy wouldn’t buy me school supplies and she hit me on the street.”
I tried to explain the situation to Charles, but after hearing me out, he furiously slapped me across the face.
He roared, “She’s only five years old–how could she possibly lie? Can’t you even tolerate your own biological daughter?”
Later, when I took Ada to school, she pleaded with me in front of everyone, “Mommy, please let me go to school. I don’t want to take those pictures for the uncles anymore.”
Her teacher Mila Mackay opened my bag and found it full of inappropriate photos of Ada.
An angry man shoved me into traffic, and I was killed on the spot.

Chapter 1
Even as I died, I couldn’t understand why Ada, whom I had worked so hard to bring into this world, would treat me this
way.
When I opened my eyes again, I had returned to the day I took Ada shopping for school supplies.
Charles said with a smile, “Ada, we’ll take you to buy stationery right away. We’ll make sure Ada becomes a happy little princess.”
Ada ignored Charles and instead came forward to tug at my sleeve, “Daddy, I want to go shopping with Mommy. All the other kids have their mommies with them. Mommy, will you come with me?”
Ada had grown up in the countryside, and we had only recently brought her to live with us.
Since she made this request, Charles naturally wouldn’t refuse.
Sure enough, Charles said, “Honey, I’ll give you extra money. Buy Ada whatever she wants–she’s still young, and we’ve already failed her before.”
Hearing these familiar words, my heart felt like it was being squeezed by a giant hand, making it almost impossible to breathe.
I realized I had been reborn.

Chapter 1
In my previous life, I had agreed to Charles’s suggestion and happily took Ada to the mall to buy school supplies.
But once we got to the mall, Ada insisted on buying a sharp utility knife.
I told Ada the knife was too dangerous, and she agreed, even volunteering that children shouldn’t play with knives.
Her words made me feel relieved. Worried that Ada might not feel close to me since she hadn’t grown up by my side, I took her to play some games.
But when we reached the mall entrance, Ada sat down on the ground and started crying and shouting, “Please don’t take me away! Help! She’s a human trafficker!”
The mall was crowded, and everyone gathered around when they heard her cries for help..
I desperately tried to explain, and finally some people started to believe me.
But the next second, Ada pointed at me again and said, “She really is a human trafficker trying to kidnap me.”
The angry crowd called the police, and I was taken to the station for questioning before being released.

Chapter 1
I couldn’t understand why Ada, who was so well–behaved at home, would tell such lies at the mall.
I was furious and wanted to properly discipline her.
But as soon as I walked through the door, before I could even speak, she threw herself into Charles’s arms, crying that I had mistreated her.
