“One day, I will marry Elena!”
The childish handwriting left me momentarily dazed.
But the signature in the corner told me everything I needed to know.

“You… you read all of it?”
He looked down, not daring to meet my eyes.
1 felt a deep part of me overflow with emotion, but couldn’t help teasing him.
“What did I read? Your Lifelong, top–secret crush?”
As expected, my words made him flustered. He rushed forward, flustered.
#Rabe! Give me that diary back!
I quickly raised it high above my head. Sebastian stumbled in his haste, and I caught him just in time.
He looked at me, wide–eyed. Through his honey–gold eyes, I saw a clear reflection of myself
I leaned in and kissed him gently on the cheek.
Sebastian let out a breathy laugh and buried his face in the crook of my neck, inhaling my scent deeply.
“Silly? So what if I am? Good things come to silly people!”
“Oh really? And what good thing did you get?”
“You. You’re my blessing.”
He gave my check a loud smooch, then sprang up and snatched the diary from my hands.
“Aha! So that was all just a ploy to distract me and steal the diary!”
I jumped up too, laughing as I caught up to him and wrapped my arms around his waist again.
His familiar scent wrapped around me. As I gazed at his lips, I leaned in to kiss him

“I didn’t see anything!”
His cheeky performance had us both laughing out loud.
I scooped him up into my arms and planted a big kiss on his little cheek.
Sebastian teached over and tapped his forehead.
“You little rascal”
With my family beside me, I looked out at the warm glow of the streetlamp outside.
I couldn’t even count how many times I had been filled to the brim with this overwhelming happiness.
