The family doctor froze in place, instinctively glancing at me and my father.”
This time, my dad’s smile finally vanished. Without a word, he made a simple hand gesture to the bodyguards behind him.
They’d worked for him for over a decade. Just one signal, and they knew exactly what to do. In an instant, one of them sent Karrie flying with a brutal kick.

“Is it just because you raised Melody? That makes her more important than me? I’m not asking for much. She can stay in our family, she can still be the heiress or whatever. I just… I just want to come back to you. Be your daughter again. Why won’t you even give me that?” But my dad didn’t say a word. He simply lifted me into his arms and turned to leave, carrying me out of the study so the doctor could examine me properly.
I knew why he didn’t respond.
To him, Karrie, Damon, and Alvin were already dead men walking. And when someone was already dead to you, what was the point of explaining anything?
But Karrie didn’t understand that. She dragged herself to the doorway, still trying to plead her case.
“Dad! You owe me an explanation!” she cried. “You knew I was your real daughter! That’s why you were supporting me from the shadows, right? That’s why you gave Alvin a job. So why won’t you admit it?“8
Then, her face suddenly had a flash of clarity. “It’s her, isn’t it? That bitch Melody did something to turn you against me! I get it now. You knew I was your daughter. And you still refused to claim me. You even hit me because you’re protecting her, aren’t you? I can accept that! I’ll even call her ‘stepmom‘ if that’s what you want. I’ll say sorry! But Dad, you can’t just ignore me like this…”
My father didn’t even glance at her. He stepped right over her as he carried me out. Desperate, Karrie clung to the doctor’s arm.
“You’re the doctor! Do a DNA test for me and my dad! I’m the real daughter. There was a mix–up at birth! If you help me prove it, I’ll pay you anything you want!“}
The doctor was stunned, almost speechless.
“You’ve lost your mind,” he said blunt
“I delivered Miss Hutchinson myself, right here in this villa. There was no baby swap that happened. There’s even video footage of her birth. Half the family was present! What do you think this is, a soap opera?“> Karrie could tell he wasn’t lying.}
“But… my DNA test shows I’m not related to my dad…” she

“Then your mom cheated. What’s that got to do with Hutchinsons?” he snapped. “All it proves is that you and your dad aren’t biologically related. By your logic, what–any man on earth could be your father? Give me a break.”
Karrie was left speechless. As for me, I finally passed out from the shock.
