I drifted in the air, feeling bored. After I had finished watching all the drama involving Dad, I started missing Mom.
Where was she now?
Before I could miss her for too long, I saw her.
She had come to prison to visit Dad.
He was very happy to see her. “Sandy, I knew that you were the one who loved me most. Wait for me to get out of here. I swear that I’ll treat you well!” Mom didn’t answer. She merely pushed a bottle of water in front of him.
“Drink it,” she said blandly.
Dad downed the entire bottle excitedly and looked at Mom. “I’ll get out of here soon. Let’s build a good life together. I want to have many pups with you-

Mom shot to her feet, cutting him off. “There is no future. I came here to terminate my mate bond with you. From now on, we no longer have anything to do with each other!”
She paused and looked at him with pure disgust. “Stop mentioning our pup! You don’t deserve to!”
Dad turned pale instantly. “Did you just make me drink a termination potion?”
He suddenly clutched his chest and curled up on the table, looking as if he was in pain. He kept shouting, “No! My mate bond… Sandy, don’t leave me!”
Mom didn’t even look at him. She turned and left the prison.
I followed Mom happily, leaving Dad behind with no regrets.
I watched Mom pull herself out of her grief. She gradually began to reclaim her life, and she made many new friends.
Slowly, she began to smile.
