Chapter 6
Pierce’s frown deepened. He raised his hand to signal silence, then looked at Thalia.[]
“Thalia, since you’re no longer a Blake employee, this matter ends here. The hundred million compensation will be transferred to your account within three days.“[]
“Now, please leave.”
Thalia stood unmoved, sneering as she spoke.[]
“Pierce, how generous of you. For a humble assistant, you’re willing to throw away a hundred million.“]
“But let’s forget the board for now–are you sure your father would agree to this?”
“Would your grandfather agree?“[]
Leah’s expression changed again. She tugged Pierce’s sleeve, urgently whispering: “Pierce, don’t listen to her nonsense.“[]
Thalia smiled.
“I’m not talking nonsense. How about I help you make a call to ask?“[]
When Thalia started dialing, Leah panicked.]
She snatched Thalia’s phone and stomped it to pieces.
Then Leah arrogantly declared that since Pierce had agreed to compensation, the phone was now hers, and Thalia had no say in the matter.]
Pierce also warned Thalia coldly: “Thalia, I don’t care what relationship you have with President Kyle and Mr. Gavin, but this is Blake Group, and I’m in charge.”
“Now, please leave!”]]

Thalia calmly sat in her chair, fingers lightly tapping the table surface, her gaze peacefully sweeping over Leah’s face, twisted with
anger.
“I can leave.” Thalia spoke slowly, “On the condition that Mr. Blake Sr. personally comes to invite me.”
Leah was stunned at first, then burst into piercing laughter, as if she’d heard the world’s funniest joke.[]
She pointed at Thalia, laughing until she nearly lost balance.
“Hahaha! What are you? Do you think Mr. Blake Sr. would personally come to invite you?“[]
“Thalia, are you insane?“]
Pierce’s expression also turned completely cold. He stepped forward, his voice carrying unquestionable authority.[]
“Thalia, I’m warning you one last time–this is Blake Group, not a place where you can throw tantrums.”[]
“Now, leave immediately!“]
Chapter 6
The executives in the conference room echoed him, some even picking up phones to call security.[]
Thalia remained seated, just slightly raising an eyebrow, her gaze moving past Pierce to the floor–to–ceiling window behind him.[]
Outside, a black stretch limousine slowly stopped at the building entrance. The
stepped out, leaning on a cane.[]
Supporting him was a serious–looking middle–aged man.
Thalia chuckled softly: “Looks like I don’t need to make that call.“[]

Pierce followed Thalia’s gaze and turned around, his expression changing dramatically: “Dad, Grandfather?!“[]
When Leah saw Mr. Blake Sr. slowly approaching the conference room, her laughter instantly disappeared.[]
Her legs went weak, nearly collapsing to the floor.[]
The conference room door opened, and Mr. Blake Sr. entered with his cane, taking firm steps.[]
His movements were hurried, his expression anxious.
His gaze swept over the chaotic conference room, finally settling on Thalia.[]
“Miss Thalia, I apologize for being late.“[]
The words “Miss Thalia” plunged the entire conference room into eerie silence again.[]
Pierce stood there, stunned, staring at Thalia.]
Then he looked at Mr. Blake Sr.[]
“Grandfather, you… what did you call her?“[]
Mr. Blake Sr. didn’t answer him but walked to Thalia and bowed his head slightly.[]
“Miss Thalia, the Blake family failed to handle matters properly. I apologize for the suffering you’ve endured.“[]
Leah’s face turned completely pale. She trembled, stepping back two paces, her voice barely squeezed through her teeth: “Mr. Blake Sr., you must be mistaken. She… she’s just an insignificant…“[]
“Shut up!”
Mr. Blake Sr. suddenly turned around, his cane striking the ground heavily.
“Leah, who do you think you are? How dare you disrespect Miss Thalia?!“[]
