As the sky darkened, Eleanor led Hunter back to the lake where she had saved him, retracing the path of their lives together, and finally arrived back home.
After he put down his luggage, Eleanor started to cook.
Hunter surveyed the layout of the room, everything was the same as before, but now his mood had changed. Seeing this familiar scene, he felt no nostalgia, only endless hatred.
He left Lena for this woman who smelled of fish all over.
For some reason, when he smelled the familiar scent again, he felt
nauseous.
“Hunter, what were you looking at?”
Eleanor, who was washing vegetables, noticed that Hunter was not in the living room and came over to find him, only to see him lost in thought.
Seeing him standing in his own bedroom, Eleanor felt a little shy for a moment, not even noticing his gloomy expression.
“We used to live in this room back then, do you remember?”
Looking at Hunter’s handsome face, Eleanor was very moved. She took Hunter’s hand and gently rubbed his five fingers.
“You have been living in the villa for so long, I wonder if you will be used to sleeping here again when you come back.”
As soon as the words fell, Hunter, as if going crazy, fiercely kissed her.

“Hunter, what are you doing… you haven’t eaten yet…”
Eleanor’s words were swallowed up in the kiss, she choked and couldn’t speak, feeling that Hunter was acting strangely.
“What are you having for dinner? We haven’t seen each other for a long time, don’t you want to catch up with me?”
Hunter frowned and viciously bit her lip.
He spoke bluntly, causing Eleanor to blush for a moment.
Seeing this, Eleanor no longer hesitated, she took off her own coat and placed Hunter’s hand on herself.
“I missed you so much during the time you ignored me, Hunter…”
“Now that Lena, that bitch, is finally out of the picture, you can belong to me forever…”
Caught in the confusion of emotions, she accidentally let slip the truth. Hunter’s eyes widened as he stared darkly at Eleanor, who was still blissfully unaware.
He suddenly grabbed her neck and threw her onto the bed?
Sudden pain made Eleanor feel a little scared at first, but then she thought it was just Hunter’s idea of fun and forced herself to calm down.
Her cheeks were flushed with desire, her hands clinging to his strong arms, pulling him towards her, kissing him passionately.
The next second, Hunter picked up a pillow beside him and forcefully covered his face.
“Hunter! Hunter! I could barely catch my breath!”
She was pressed down so hard that she couldn’t breathe, struggling with

all her might, but Hunter pressed down even harder.
Eleanor suddenly realized that Hunter was trying to suffocate her!
“Ah!! Hunter! Spare me… please, spare me…..
Hunter finally let go of his hand when he heard her cries for help gradually weaken and eventually disappear.
The face no longer had desire, replaced by a flushed complexion. Hunter patted her face, confirming that she had completely passed out, and got up from the bed.
When Eleanor opened her eyes again, she was weak and found herself dressed in rags, tied up with ropes all over her body, folded into the suitcase brought by Hunter.
“Awake? Hunter sat on the bed, looking at her, and chuckled coldly.”
He no longer had the deep and gentle look he had when we first met, instead, he had a numb expression.
Eleanor’s mouth was taped shut, unable to speak, only able to struggle and emit silent screams.
Hunter lit a cigarette, walked up to Eleanor, and pressed the cigarette butt onto her smooth arm, leaving behind a series of red marks.
“Ugh!! Ugh ugh!!”
She curled up, unable to move, only able to muffle weak screams with her hand over her mouth.
“Eleanor, didn’t you say you liked me?”
His eyes were dull, and his cheeks twitched slightly.
“Today when you returned to the fishing village, you seemed very happy,

“How about I let you stay in this fishing village where you saved me for the rest of your life?”
He approached Eleanor while speaking, she met his terrifying gaze and couldn’t help but shiver uncontrollably.
Then he zipped up the suitcase and wrapped it with tape.
Eleanor kept struggling and hitting the box with her body, but to no avail.
As night fell, Hunter brought the box to the lakeside where they had met, gazing into the distance.
The various past events all pierced through my heart. If I hadn’t met Eleanor in this fishing village back then, but had returned to Lena instead, would the outcome have been different.
“Eleanor, all of this was your retribution.”
He pushed the suitcase into the lake and then turned around and left the village.
