The next morning, Hunter packed up his things and went to the seaside where he and Lena had once fallen in love.
He stood on a reef, with the sea breeze carrying the waves towards him, almost causing him to fall into the sea.
Hunter raised his phone and aimed the camera at himself.
Last night at the bar, a few of his brothers urged him to win back Lena.
He had also thought about sneaking off to France to catch a glimpse of Lena, but he knew the Steele family was powerful. If her parents found out, they could very likely join forces with other industries to terminate the cooperation with the Langdon family.
At that time, his best friend Quentin suggested, “Since you can’t go to France, why not deceive her to come here and let her see your determination.”
His plan caught Hunter’s attention, who also decided to go along with it.
