Chapter 11
“Lira, miss me?” Octavio took a while to answer on the other end, sounding familiar.
Lira’s lips curled up in a smile, Octavio still looks the same as in past lives
“Octavio, Brent is in the hospital. Can you come pick him
up
when
you
have time?”
Octavio obviously knew about Brent getting beaten up, and casually said, “Unfortunately, I was out of town early in the morning”
He asked again, Did no one from the Franco family go to pick him up?
Lira covered the microphone with her hand and whispered, “Mr. Franco was really angry, didn’t allow anyone to see him, and didn’t let him go home.”
Octavio said, “Poor thing, luckily we have Lina, who is beautiful and kind, to take care of him I’ll send you the address and you can
him.”
He hung up after saying that, and then sent a location.
Lira looked and thought, “Isn’t this the apartment I stayed in last night?”
The road was familiar.
Lira turned off her phone and told Brent about Octavio’s business trip, “Can I give you a ride back to the apartment?”
Brent just gave a faint “Hmm”
n take it to
Lira ran up and down to help him complete the discharge procedures, then they took the elevator downstairs together, Brent pressed the negative
one button
Lira: “Did you drive?”
Brent nodded
Lira couldn’t imagine how someone drove to the hospital after being beaten like that.
‘Let’s take a taxi, it’s not convenient for you to drive like this” she said.
Brent: “You can’t drive?
She learned to drive after being sent abroad in her past life, but she doesn’t have a driver’s license in this life yet.
“It will do.” Lira replied truthfully, I don’t have a driver’s license.”
Brent: “In Boston, no one dared to check my car yet.”
His voice was always flag, with the inherent arrogance of a prince.
Lira thought adding the last three words was really unnecessary.
On weekdays, the traffic was light and Lira drove the car steadily to minimize shaking, making Brent, who had a sore back, more comfortable.
She was kind–hearted.
The prince couldn’t get used to such a formal carriage, he glanced and said, “Who taught you to drive this thing?”
Lira thought he was bad at driving and apologized, “I don’t really drive, is that okay?”
“Comfortable.” Brent’s head was lazily leaning against the back of the chair, legs crossed on the center console, back hanging in the air. “Even more comfortable than riding in the boss’s car. Did you learn to drive from the boss’s driver?”
Lirat
It’s not that she didn’t like the way she sang, it’s just that she sang too well.
She sneakily glanced at his posture out of the corner of her eye, his back was hanging with a wound, probably a little tired.

Lira silently increased the speed of the car.
In the following journey, she put into practice the driving skills she learned from the retired soldier in her past life, driving to the destination at he fastest speed possible while ensuring safety.
Trent was finally satisfied. The Lira he knew should be carefree like this, rules are not needed in her dictionary.
Brent, take care and rest well. I’m heading out now.” Lira walked Brent upstairs, didn’t go inside, and left the car keys on the entryway cabinet.
Brent didn’t say anything, just looked at the entranceway.
Lira looked over in the direction he was staring, and froze.
She should have been lying in the hotel’s suitcase, but now she’s standing straight against the wall.
I don’t know how to explain it, but Erica called and Lira answered, saying “Did I not bring the box over last night?
No, I had someone take the box to the hotel and deliver it, along with some food: Lira, you’re a good person, please help me take care of Brent For a few days” Erica pleaded.
ira resisted, but when she looked up and saw Brent’s slow–moving figure, her heart softened.
When she was abroad in her past life, every time she got sick, she was alone. That feeling of loneliness, she still feels suffocated when she recalls
“Okay,” Lira agreed.
Erica was grateful for the kiss he gave her over the phone.
Lira hung up the phone and immediately regretted it. She agreed too quickly without even asking Brent if he needed help.
What if he was injured and didn’t want to be disturbed?
