Meet my ex wife’s husband Ch 3

Chapter 3

At the garage, Livia complimented Grace once more, “Antonio, your assistant is very efficient. Could you give me her contact info? I might need her help.”

Antonio, of course, wouldn’t turn her down.

“Sure. I’ll send later. You can call her if you need anything.”

Driving home, Antonio sensed Grace’s displeasure. .

He chuckled, “Marriage, wedding ring-how long will you pretend? Isn’t it tiring?”

Grace sighed, patiently reiterating that her marriage was real, “I’m not pretending; this is indeed a wedding ring.”

Antonio assumed Grace was feeling guilty and reminded her again, “Livia is different for me. Don’t make any unwar- ranted comments about her.”

His words were dripping with warning.

Grace, once jealous, now felt only weariness.

Livia, after friending Grace on Facebook, began making frequent demands: passport issues, police reports, theater tickets…

Grace got only four hours to sleep nightly.

She suggested Antonio hire a professional assistant for Livia, but he ignored her.

Overwhelmed, Grace almost forgot about Devin.

Devin’s call surprised her. “Are you busy? I wondered if you’d like a Nelykon wedding.”

“A Nelykon wedding?”

Grace repeated, aware of the hotel’s exclusivity.

Antonio burst into the office, his gaze cold. “What wedding?”

Startled, Grace hung up. “I was discussing wedding plans with my husband.”

Antonio, suspecting deception, said,

“Don’t forget my invitation.”

Invitation?

Grace, lacking wedding experience, hadn’t considered invitations.

“They haven’t been made yet. Once they’re ready, I’ll give you one.”

“Almost wedding day, and no invitations?” Antonio sneered.

“I’ve been too busy lately,” Grace explained calmly.

Antonio simply nodded curtly, “I’ll be waiting.”
